Thanks for accepting my application to join the XB1 society. Some lessons from my opening couple of rounds:

- An eagle on your first hole at Royal Ethalwind should not necessarily be taken as an indicator of future performance
- An eagle at the 14th on today's tournament course should ideally not be followed by a windswept, water-bound double bogey at the 15th
- I make an incredible number of very, very bad decisions

This feels a little easier to get to grips with than TGC1, or at least a little better at conveying to me quite why I'm doing badly, largely because the swing mechanism is intuitive and the feedback makes complete sense to me. It's nice, in an odd sort of way, to know that my many shortcomings are definitely mine...

That is EXACTLY what I did. Eagle, double. LOL.

Yeah, I don't think Jupiter Ridge is a hard course by any means, but that annoying wind can make havoc in your round. I experienced 15+ mph winds during my play.

What was the par for that course? I'm trying to figure out how John's scores equal -24.

Only -1 after 9 holes, was a challenge to tie you at -7!

F*ck today's XB1 round.

Fast greens, impossible pin positions. Recipe for disaster. Hated every minute of that course. Copperhead, never again.

HBS really screwed the pooch with green & fairway conditions not allowing multiple firmness options.

Hope they change this in a future update.

I was lucky enough to play The Boulders South Course here in Phoenix this morning. Beautiful track!! I would love to play a digital version in TGC2. Does anyone know if it's been made - or if there is a way to search for real courses in the game?

John or Divot if you can pass this along. It drives me nuts I can't see how many rounds I've played. Seems like an easy stat to keep track of.

Not sure what platform you're on but XBOX, go to all courses, then click L3 and 2 fields show up and then type course name. It may be R3 because I swing with left stick even though im right handed.

I found out that I have more fun on this game when I just play and dont worry about my score, which sucks by the way. Now I just try and set my self up for a one putt situation and go from there. I hadnt figured out the putting yet, but im having fun trying. Still finishing on the plus side, but itll come eventually.

Yep the first game I had all sorts of sorts of trouble getting under par in a round in the beginning, you just gotta keep plugging away at it.

The creator didn't pay attention to lengths and pars on a few holes. I think there are 6 par fives in this version of Quail Hollow, which is really wonked. I never got the sensation that I was playing or seeing Quail Hollow when I was playing this course. Aces-R-Wild is creating what I'm sure will be a more realistic rendition of Quail Hollow, and suggests it could be upon us by this weekend. If it comes then, I'll at least set the PC and PS4 Dailies there on Monday.

It was on my Friend's recommended list (Gawella GC), and it was my first time playing it. I had a four-putt double bogey, and a bogey, and still somehow shot a 62!? I made a ton of putts to do it though, and it didn't feel anything near like a 62.

All that said, I wasn't overly impressed with the golf challenge of the course, although it made for a lot of wonderful screen shots. I almost felt like I was playing in a photoshoot spread. I'n not a huge fan of the really low sun angle settings. It feels like it should be dark by the time I finish... I'm seeing more and more of these as time progresses.

Yeah, that bothers me also... thanks for bringing it up. I'll hit them up with it!
