Guys, my wife has updated her blog. Please give it a read when you have the time. Unfortunately the hope was short lived. I am just at a total loss. I find myself also having taken a step back, just overwhelmed.

I imagine these setbacks are incredibly difficult and frustrating, but thankfully she has a great support group who loves her. I continue to believe that one day, hopefully soon, the doctors will find something that allows Hope to live a relatively normal, happy life.

When you guys are faced with such difficult circumstances sometimes it's hard to follow up with what little energy you may have left day in, day out. Even to share the story is hard to do so at times as your wife stated. Continuous progress for your daughter, praying for financial, social and medical help to reach your family and others affected by the same mental issues.

Stay strong as usual!

I don't know why some folks seem destined to hug the cactus, Steve, but you and your family have. It sucks. Prayers continuing for your daughter's sanity...and all of yours as well. I have no idea how difficult that must be, and won't even try. But I'll do what I can. As will we all.

Thanks guys. Just knowing you guys are here for me means more than words can ever say.

A Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I myself will be alone as the wife and kids are on their way up to Ohio to visit my wife's family. I have to stay home and work, but that is ok. I am just thankful to have the work to do.

Guys, my daughter is back in the hospital. She was actually in again just over a month ago for about 10 days, and now she is being readmitted. Things have gotten a lot worse.

Please keep us all in your prayers.

Sorry to hear that Steve. I imagine it's very difficult to readmit her, but I guess it helps knowing that she's in a place where she is safe and can't hurt herself. As always, she's in our thoughts.
