Guys, I need your prayers again. My daughter has now started her third hospitalization.

On Friday night we ended up back in the ER. As there are only 10 hospitals in the whole state with a mental health wing for children, she had to stay in an ER room until a spot opened up. Yesterday, a spot finally opened up, and she was transported to Raleigh (almost 3 hours from our home).

We now wait to get a call giving us some indication as to what the prognosis is. My wife and youngest son will head up to Raleigh by tomorrow. I have to stay and work as I spent the last 4 days sitting in the ER with my sweet daughter. I just pray she comes home soon. I feel so empty.

Almost made a post similar to this recently, as I've spent the past 6 weeks in ER's, doctor's offices, radiologists, oncologists, and care facilities practically non stop.

I feel your pain, and hope you get some peace soon. With the nonstop assault on your state of mind, sometimes you just have to take a breath and a short break, and work through these extended medical issues in shifts with your spouse/family.

My daughter came home today. Felt so good to hug her.

I pray that this is the last time for hospitalization, but I fear it may never be.
