Awesome so it only took 9 years to get proper foot planting, now if only OL / DL play worked.

My absolute favorite part of todays news. They put the sprint button back in but call it the acceleration button.

Classic EA.

Watching the Army/Navy vid posted at OS was a thing of beauty. I can't remember the last time the AI ran it that well.

Surprisingly impressions at OS have been glowing. I've only had to delete about 35 posts that weren't impressions. :D

I think it's just out for you guys south of the border. Went into the MS website to see if I could sched a DL and it mentioned not being available in our region.

Try searching for it via the Bing blade on the dashboard, people have been having luck finding it that way.

Played two games of the demo. I'm a big presentation guy so really digging the new coordinator and wide camera angles.
With the wide angle, I can see almost the whole stadium including the sky with moving clouds. The coordinator cam is a top down angle.

Pluses include:
Can change difficulty and sliders.
Stats updated after every play, not just the current play, but total rushing/passing stats.
Infinity engine 2.0 is incredible. No wonky physics.

The only minus I see is the graphics, a lot of blurriness, jaggies, etc. not sure if it's just because of being a demo.

Have some credit at both Amazon and Gamestop, so looks like a preorder for me.

I like it so far. Different difficulties for OFF and DEF is a plus.. different cameras are a plus, presentation looks nice.

Game plays a bit tougher or I'm a tad rusty. :)

Quick Impressions :

I play ncaa 11 and in 14 demo, you notice right away the smaller sizes of the players.

Colors are much brighter.

Gameplay is interesting. Feels like a fixed Madden 13.

Not sure what the issue is, but this is the first time that I can remember in a long time that a football demo is not released at par in NA.

Played as each of the home teams on All American difficulty and was able to both run and pass with success. The cpu got off some big runs against me with the option but they didn't seem to pass much but it was only 3 games. Really like the vivid colors and the upgraded presentation is nice. Pastapadre mentioned that playing Madden at E3 felt a lot like NCAA, so I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Madden even more now as I do prefer the pro game over the college game and don't have time for both in the rotation.

I really like the way the game plays and looks. It feels more organic and running is fantastic. Ol / DL is the best its ever been in the series IMO. I love the shuttle pass and the way the cpu runs the options.

There are still some tackles that are artifacts of the IE engine that just looks odd like when a DE and RB run into each other and just both fall backwards but there are a lot more realistic looking tackles so I can live with that.

Things that concern me. I've seen many people saying how challenging it is. I've played a game with every team and haven't lost once. When I played against Alabama I had to go to OT to win but I still won. This is on All American for both off and def.

The AI QB seems to scramble almost too quickly at times even though he usually gets a lot of yardage. I love that I can speed rush with a DE but it felt kind of easy maybe its a match up thing.

The AI still never runs back a kick even if it is only 1 yard deep in the end zone.

The late game AI seems improved but it will still do some odd things. Bama called plays and did everything right to end the first half but ended up with 4th and 3 on my 42 yard line with 10 seconds and a time out and let the clock run out. I could argue calling a time out and having one last prayer but that was the only odd one I saw.

I liked the coordinator Camera they have this year. Reminds me of the early NCAA games on PS1.

More of a nostalgic feel I guess.

I'm really digging it this year. Would love to have new commentators for a change, but even if it's a bit stale, it's still good stuff. LOVE the running. I opted out last year, which is a huge deal for me. College football is why I got into gaming in the first place. Preordered this one. It's gonna be good to be back.
