This is definitely going to be released on current-gen---it would be insane business otherwise. I'm just wondering if it will be on PS4/720 as well.

It looks gorgeous....but I still think Crysis 3 looks better. Also - who the f cares about single player in this series? Give me Bad Company 3!! I would much rather have Bad Company 3 and then EA make Battlefield 4 an online-only multiplayer game.

Yup - you can see the keyboard prompts in the video.

Since both new consoles are x86 based I'm fairly certain it'll be out on the PS4/Durango as well and great that it'll be on PS3/360 as well.

Hopefully they increase the player counts for the console versions and I also wonder if they may be pressured to increase the player counts in the PC version to greater than 64 since Planetside has totally stolen BF3's thunder.

Gameplay looked good, graphics were vey nice. What are the chances this was from the next gen systems? Dice MUST have a next gen xbox and ps4 by now with release this fall/winter. Either way i am very excited for this game.

BF4 MP beta starts on Oct 1st for those with BF3 premium (Oct 4th for everyone). Same day as GTA V online launch. I guess I can forget about sleeping that night.

There was a video that EA put out, touting their newest frostbite engine supporting all the platforms.

But not sure who else uses that, other than DICE. Mirrors Edge and Need for Speed apparently will.

The wide shots of helicopters in Battlefield makes it seem like there are possibilities beyond shooters, but those are the bread and butter of a lot of publishers so that's probably what kind of games frostbite will be used for.
