Thief reboot in 2014

The PC stealth classic may be coming back to the PC and PS4 platforms next year:

While the idea of graverobbing past franchises instead of developing new ideas is bothersome, this is one of those games like Fallout that really deserves to be resurrected on a modern platform.

I really doubt we'll get anything that resembles the structure of the old PC games. More likely to feel like the Deadly Shadows reboot that hit the original X-Box, and even that was a step removed. (less open, less equipment options, etc)

Hopefully it at least approaches Dishonored in how it feels.

If it was done well it could be a system seller for me. I loved the Thief games. I wonder if they could get the same voice talent? Stephen Russell as Garret would be a must. I just checked to see if he is still doing voice work and found out that he did Mercer Frey and other voices in Skyrim as well as a bunch of voices in Fallout 3. He did a great job on some of the guards in Thief as well. I just loved all the character types in that series - especially the Hammers.
