What were we, 6-1 on the night? Great stuff. You can tell how far our game has come since the early going. Yeah, we'll run into the occasional powerhouse team, but we definitely held our own with our matchups yesterday, dominating play for much of the night. Some of the forecheck pressure we had was ridiculous and we had great keeps and rotations from and with the D-men.

And where did you get that slapper from, 34? 8)

That was the best night ever for the Ice Dragons, great forechecking, backchecking, defense and a nice variety of goals from all. That last overtime game was the best at the end of the 5th OT, "Just shoot it toward the net, it will go in", and it did with 2.7 seconds left!

Thanks Vader looking at how much it would be to get a custom jersey. Finding that logo is going to be hard though.

I saw you guys online Friday night, but you were already 5, so I didn't want to disturb the mojo. Plus you had just started a game, so I'm too impatient to wait that long and played baseball instead.

Perhaps it's a good thing I didn't play, I would have screwed the winning streak. :P

Never a good idea.

Personally, I'd much, much rather play privately against just ourselves in 3 v 3 style than as a 5-man team against who knows who. Not that I don't like the 5-man team as an idea, it's just that the 5-man teams we run into tend to be very, very good. Playing amongst friends is for me almost always a better time. Certainly, the rush of beating a random team of strangers can be satisfying, but I'm happy to give that up in exchange for friendly banter and playing amongst a bigger group of DSP buds.

+1

The inter squad games are usually more fun, more relaxed and far less frustrating. It is the best of XBox Live.

Yeah don't stay away because of that, we even did 3 vs 3 games sandwiched in between EASHL games when we had 6 players for a couple of games that night.

Agree. Playing with and against you cats makes me feel like less of a frozen boat anchor, dragging down the team. :)
