That is hilarious. I used to hate Torterella but he grew on me during the Winter Classic series on HBO last year. Rangers still suck though.

That would be funnier if the rangers hadnt turned into the Habs.

Wth was that? Usually teams give up after they fall behind in the third and not when they go into it ahead.

Now I have to do this...great job bruins. I hate you so much.

okay its still funny.

I really think that the league will need to have some kind of video review quickly implemented the way these refs are f*cking up daily in the most important time of the year. Kings were just robbed of a goal against the Sharks. It's the playoffs folks. Someone wake up there...

And he could have easily scratch Rick Nash as well. I haven't seen him yet in this series.

and the beat goes on.

Clutching and grabbing is now allowed. With one caveat. You must be wearing a well used maxi pad as a uniform.

Screw you, the rest of wings nation and new found Wings fan jimmy too.

I dont know what else the Hawks could have done. The majority of the good chances and two posts.

Gotta keep playing hard . Dont go dying like the Habs and get it done. 8)

Call me the next time the captain gets 3 back to back minors.

Hawks can't put the puck in the next, 6 posts in two games. Crawford is doing his part, the rest of the team is pressing. It's clear they are not going to get calls so you just need to ignore the bullshit and play.

Full on panic mode in Chicago this morning.

What's funny is before the season started no one thought the Hawks would do anything. Now because they have run into Howard who is playing at a record pace they are worthless.

Just got back today from a business trip in Hong Kong where I ran into 6 former and now retired Flames players. They were in a trip to promote hockey there along the city of Beijing, and I got a good chuckle with the likes of Lanny MacDonald (still good looking stache), Jim Peplinski, Jaime Macoun, Fernado Pisani (wasn't aware that he retired not long ago), Chris Joseph and Joel Otto. All good guys, most of them played that classic playoff series against the Canucks in 94 where they were up 3-1 in the series and eventually lost it in double OT game 7 to Pavel Bure's brilliant goal.

I remember fearing a guy like Otto, because of his size and grit and then when you talk to them, they are just great down to earth guys that really love the sport of Hockey no matter which jersey they wear.

They should play game 5 by using their good speed and skills, keep plugging instead of trying to reciprocate a more physical DET team. They all have been there, have the experience yet are running around trying to hurt back guys like Abdelkader who's been annoying the heck out of captain quiet, and has been a true pest for the Hawks. Toews all of the sudden is getting the emotions of the game get the better of him and with that the rest of the team.

That was sweet.

Never bet against #19

Two game sevens. Hoping for the home teams in both. Hawks vs Kings...two of the last three Cup champs would be epic.

The West is so much more tougher to predict than the East. Two great comebacks to force the decisive game 7's. SJ has to continue to make LA pay for their over aggressiveness with the man advantage and so far both teams have won in their respective home advantage.

I like the Kings at home.

Crucial key rookie mistakes cost the Wings in the third today. They'll learn.

Look forward to watch both game 7's.

Very questionable penalty shot. Even the announcers said so.

"TEAMS HAVE TRAILED 3-1 IN A BEST-OF-SEVEN SERIES A TOTAL OF 229 TIMES AND HAVE COME BACK TO WIN THE SERIES ON 20 OCCASIONS OR 8.7% OF THE TIME." (NHL.com)

Very possible but unlikely? Depends on whose team you support.

No matter what the outcome is in game 7 the Red Wings have had a good run in the playoffs! :!: :D

It's been such a tight series all along. Huge save by a Quick on Pavelski was the difference, Kings will be tough to beat. In the end the 3rd and 4th line for LA was a bit better. Sharks should be proud of themselves. Great series.

Torts is canned in NY. Kind of surprised. Where does he go next?
