EA announces Fight Night

 Looks interesting. A boxing game with realistic physics and analog control for punches could be amazing. I guess we won´t really know until it comes out though.

yeah....i´ve always wanted to see a decent boxing game, I really hope this is good.

I sure hope it´s head and shoulders better than Knockout Kings. For whatever reason, the pace and button responses always seemed so sloooooooooow. Boxing shouldn´t be thought of as boring.

I wouldn´t hold your breath, boys: EA Canada is the developer.
 
 EA Canada has a pretty shitty track record with realistic sports games. It is responsible for the awful FIFA series and was responsible for the pathetic NHL series until this year, when EA wisely hired Blackbox Games to create the vastly improved NHL 2004.

Actually PK EA Canada is only publishing the game.
 
 NuFX are developing the title.
 
 Does that really mean anything? Who knows, but at least EA C isn´t actually making the damn thing. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_wink.gif">

I think what Paul is trying to say here is that EA Canada is to Steve Yzerman as Black Box is to Gordie Howe.

 EA Canada makes s*** team sports games, and Stevie Y is a great player. Just not one of the four greatest players. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif">
