Loved American Bandstand, him hosting New year's eve, he always looked so youthful. RIP.

Most celebrities would have disappeared from the national spotlight after having a stroke. But he was unafraid to get back in front of the cameras.

Dude brought rock and roll to America's living room. RIP.

Brought pop, rock & whatever was hot to living room. Just the fact the Flying Burrito Bros performed in Bandstand blows my mind. Seeing parsons lip syncing was good enough for me. Rip

Dont forget he hosted $100000 Pyramid game show and the one show tune I still have stuck in my head TV BLOOPERS AND PRACTICAL JOKES with Ed McMahon.

It's interesting that there isn't more publicity today in regards to his passing. I guess if he died 10 years ago at 72, there would be more coverage from the media since he was more in the popular culture. Whereas now, I think most of the young kids remember him as the guy who didn't know how to countdown New Years Eve.

Anyway, his contribution to American Society with Rock and roll will be his place in the history books.

RIP
