2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
DSP'ers,
I decided to do something different this year with the fantasy baseball league.
It will be an 8 team NL only keeper league.
At the end of each season, each team will decide who they want to keep from each of their teams.
The amount of players to keep can be debated, but I think it will give each of us playing more ownership over our teams.
The draft next season will go in order from last to first.
This years draft is Sunday, April 1st @ 6:00 PM
There are 6 spots open so PM me if interested.

2 spots left.
League is free and will most likely stay that way unless the majority want a prize. (Then the majority can put the money towards it)

Re: 2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
Is there a spot still open?
Is it a head-to-head or rotisserie scoring?

Rotisserie
and it there is one spot open, although we have two people willing to fill that spot if needed.
If you want in, PM me.
All I ask is that you commit for many seasons as this is a keeper league.
You will keep 7 players off your team each season for the following season.
Thanks

sorry I missed the draft. Screwed up my ankle last night, go drunk, and forgot about it.
Re: 2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
No worries.
I hope you like your team.

Seven keepers sounds a bit high to me in an NL-only. Maybe three? The draft is half the fun:)
Re: 2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
four would be my vote.
Re: 2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
After thinking about it some more, perhaps four would be better. . .perhaps even two position players and two pitchers. . .
Re: 2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
Okay guys, after we check with other other 4 guys we can make a decision.

Four works for me. I like the two pitchers, two batters idea.

Re: 2012 DSP N.L. Only Fantasy Keeper League
I think 4 works, but I don't want to lock anyone in on what position the players are. If a player finishes last and their pitching absolutely stinks, it wouldn't be fair to force them to keep two pitchers.
Also, it is possible they lose their best pitchers to the AL due to free agency or trades. (Cole Hamels in 2013 for example)

Good points. 4 players, any position.pigpen81 wrote:I think 4 works, but I don't want to lock anyone in on what position the players are. If a player finishes last and their pitching absolutely stinks, it wouldn't be fair to force them to keep two pitchers.

I don't know who Willie's cupboard is, but I'm coming hard at you this last month. I just need some saves and some Ks!
