Bummer, but I trust Rockstar. Would rather have them release a masterpiece at their pace than be rushed.Danimal wrote:Red Dead 2 is delayed until October 2018.

That's too bad about the delay, but just provides more time to catch up on the crazy year that was 2017.

Re: XBox One AND PS4 Discussion
Disappointing to hear, but honestly I probably wouldn't have much time for it with all the games I'm currently playing. I just started getting back in to GTA 5 and am having a blast with it. I'm getting closer and closer to finishing HZD and still have Super Mario Odyssey to devote more time to.
I've also only completed about half of RDR, so it'll give me time to get back to it eventually.
Then all the sports games I'm trying to play.......I'm fine with the delay!

Re: XBox One AND PS4 Discussion
Because of it being on Game Pass on launch day, I will definitely be playing it. I played a little bit of it in the closed beta and it was extremely fun. This will definitely be a social game, hooking up with 3 other buddies, and just having a casual fun time. The water physics in this game are unreal as well!Diablo25 wrote:Sea Of Thieves is quickly approaching. Its been getting positive impressions of late. Anyone looking at this one?

Re: XBox One AND PS4 Discussion
The guys we play PUBG with were in the closed beta and it sold them. I will get the Xbox game pass to play it the first month and then buy after that if it has long term potential. Or maybe keep game pass for 10 per month.Diablo25 wrote:Sea Of Thieves is quickly approaching. Its been getting positive impressions of late. Anyone looking at this one?

I also read that there may be an open beta?

I think I'm one of the six people on Earth who thought Assassin's Creed: Black Flag was "meh," so this game isn't on my radar.Diablo25 wrote:Sea Of Thieves is quickly approaching. Its been getting positive impressions of late. Anyone looking at this one?

The only game on my spring hit list is the Isle of Man: TT motorcycle racing game. It's never a bad thing to save money and catch up on my existing backlog of games.

This is not normally the type of game I would be interested in, but my son had me install it on both our Xbox One and PC (it is cross platform, even for the beta test), and damn this game seems like it could be a really fun co-op game with friends. I had no idea what I was doing, but fortunately got matched up with crew mates who were nice enough to tell me what I should be doing and where to help. Outside of the wait times, this test was pretty smooth, at least for a couple games. Don't know yet if I will buy it, but if anyone of you want to try and hook up to play in the next 24 hours let me know. Thanks!Second Scale Test
Since last week’s Scale Test, our services team have done more work to help manage the traffic of player counts when playing the game.
We are now running a second Scale Test, beginning on Friday February 23rd at 12am GMT (4am PST) and ending on Sunday February 25th at 10am GMT (2am PST).
The goal of this is to test the latest services work we have done, and try and hit a higher number of concurrent players than we’ve ever seen before.
What to expect
With this added scale we expect – and plan – to see issues, that we can learn from and address. Not only are we looking to hit scale, we will also purposefully be stressing our services by throttling performance at certain times, testing the game in different data centres around the world, and simulating deliberate outages.
Some examples of the issues we expect to see are:
· Sessions being interrupted
· An inability to join the game at certain times during the weekend
· Issues when using shops in-game

I tried it and found it strangely relaxing. No idea what the goal is in this game, but the sailing was nice.

God of War is heaping some very high praise in terms of reviews. I'll probably pick this game up 6-12 months down the road, or just Gamefly it when it becomes available. I'm slowing my roll when it comes to games that aren't necessarily my game preference.

I was just coming to say the same thing, so is Spiderman but that is a Sept release. I've never played a God of War but crikey critics are loving it.sportdan30 wrote:God of War is heaping some very high praise in terms of reviews. The stuff I’ve seen on Spider-Man looks incredible. There is a full 4k gameplay video on YouTube of Spider-Man and it looks stunning.Danimal wrote:I was just coming to say the same thing, so is Spiderman but that is a Sept release. God of War may get a look from me. It looks great. I’ve just never play a God of War game.

Have never played a God of War game, but the new one is pretty incredible. Loving the way they implemented a single camera shot for the ENTIRE game...
Re: XBox One AND PS4 Discussion
I took advantage of the 20% off for God of War and bought it digitally from Sony. I also read that the game is massive, clocking in at around 45-50 hrs if you want 100% completion.

Sony gave away on their website 20% off coupon codes on your entire purchase for watching videos on MLB The Show 18 and God of War. The deal was posted on cheapassgamer.Danimal wrote:What 20% off?Rodster wrote:I took advantage of the 20% off for God of War and bought it digitally from Sony. Re: XBox One AND PS4 Discussion
It’s no secret that I have been craving for a Tennis game for the current generation. When AO debuted in Australia back in January, I was underwhelmed by the video footage. The game was released just a few days ago in NA and I just couldn’t get my fix anywhere. It’s not a full price game, there’s no commentary, there’s not event grunting ( at least for the Men), but from what I played it was decent enough to get my interest.
Career mode is deep, the customization is a lot of fun and until World Tour comes in a couple of weeks, I’ll be digging this title. Even WT doesn’t guarantee a satisfying game from what I saw, so we’ll see.
We are not talking breathtaking visuals here, but again the gameplay is challenging enough for me to buy the game. I believe you can do it digitally only, if you got an Xbox pass you may want to check it out first,

I'm sorry, what is "AO"? My son has taken up tennis this year, and we've been trying to find him a tennis video game.10spro wrote:It’s no secret that I have been craving for a Tennis game for the current generation. It's not out here yet. Not till May 22 per Amazon. Nearly every review I've read bashes it, so not exactly chomping at the bit.Teal wrote:Do you agree with the ign review? Because, yeesh...
