It seems the travel scenes are only needed when they can slip in cameos for untalented musicians.

Now that was the fastest 52 minutes ever...Damn it! want more.

Turned it up to 11.

Love me some Dragon. They do team up nicely with dothraki.

Arya. Good times with blades.

I hope Arya adds Littlefinger to her list.

Best episode of the season, no doubt. Great cliffhanger at the end.

I think Sansa doesn't know what to think when all are her siblings are apparently crazy people now.

Jon is obsessed with ice zombies. Bran is a creepy nutjob. Arya is a stone-cold killer.

Doesn't help that she doesn't trust Littlefinger either.

This season is pretty much giving me everything I would want right now. I could watch an hour of Arya/Brianne fighting outtakes. The only thing I don't like is the dragon ballista is lame. They should have spiced it up by making a catapult that would shoot The Mountain at a dragon.

Does make the skin crawl.

I would like to be very slow and very painful.

I loved the contrast between this week and last. Instead of the summer blockbuster set-piece, we got sensational character and plot moments like Jorah's return and Gilly's casual mention of the annulment. Delightful stuff...

So much happening so fast last night.

Most predictable thing for me was the death of Dickon, which I predicted exactly -- fiery death of an honest, sympathetic character to give you pause about Dany.

Next week, it certainly seems Jon and his all-star squad are in a hopeless situation, so something will have to come out of left field to bail them out. Bran? Wildlings? Dragons?

Also Cersei is still menacing. Plotting with Qyburn to poison the dragon bolts? Parlay with Dany and stab them in the back similar to Red Wedding (there was line about "if we can't win on the battleflied, fight them like father")?

I am loving this season. The first episode is the only one I would say was a bit slow -- everything since has been mostly meat and very little filler.

There are niggling logic things that I am surprised the writers don't see -- for example, how do Jaime and Bronn both swim away from a battle in full armor, get away with no one looking for them, and apparently stayed in/under water for quite some time? But that doesn't take away from my overall enjoyment.

I also love how they will drop a BOMB in the middle of what seems like an inconsequential scene, like the annulment revelation. We had to rewind and go back because we were, "OMG, did Gilly say what we think she said?"

This was so well done. As many are saying this morning, it's looking more and more like GoT is fundamentally Jon Snow's story above anything else.

Great episode, I was a little sleepy and had to go back and rewatch some scenes like the Gilly scene. I also loved the Jon Snow / Dragon scene. First that Dragon was just amazing. IDK if it was pure CGI or some combination of puppet / CGI but it was great. The Dragon sniffing Jon and having the innate sense that he is a Targaryen and then getting the apparent confirmation in the Gilly scene.

I'm sick of Littlefinger myself, hoping he gets it before the end of the season. Can't believe there are only 3 episodes left.

There is a lot of suspension of disbelief this season with how these battles are going, armies and navies teleporting around the country...
