So the latest is a porn star.

Definitely better than the others.
I'm curious though--am I the only one who thinks the vast majority of pro athletes have cheated on their wives at some point, and that a lesser but significant number have 'one in every port'?

No, you're not. I work in professional motorsports, and stories of drivers' escapades are pretty common.Naples39 wrote:I'm curious though--am I the only one who thinks the vast majority of pro athletes have cheated on their wives at some point, and that a lesser but significant number have 'one in every port'?
Take care,

If we had an animation news channel over here I don't think I would watch the regular news ever again.

Joking aside, this might be taking a turn for the grimmer now

It's weird that nobody knows who it is, but it appears to be Elin's mother.davet010 wrote:Joking aside, this might be taking a turn for the grimmer now

Things seem to be getting worse for TW:
Marketers Pull All Tiger Woods Ads From Prime-Time Television
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid= ... dOr_Gky7YM
Dec. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Marketers have pulled all Tiger Woods advertisements from prime-time television broadcast networks and 19 cable channels following reported extramarital affairs, according to data from Nielsen Co.
The last prime-time ad featuring the 33-year-old golfer was a 30-second Gillette Co. spot that ran on Nov. 29, according to New York-based Nielsen. Woods was also absent from commercials on a number of weekend sports programs, including NFL games, Nielsen said.
“Last weekend there wasn’t any advertisement during those games,” said Aaron Lewis, a spokesman at Nielsen.
-----------------------------
Also, Drudge is linking to an article about possible X-Rated shots and Playgirl magazine. What I want to know is how this whole suspected drunken driving thing is being played out. It seems that the police have zero power in the face of incredible circumstantial evidence of TW driving under the influence. Surely the blood samples will have to be released.

No blood was taken, apparently, as there wasn't enough evidence to go get it.toonarmy wrote: What I want to know is how this whole suspected drunken driving thing is being played out. That despite this:
The subpoena request made by Trooper Joshua A. Evans said: "The driver lost control of his vehicle, crashed and was transported to the hospital. A witness stated that the driver had consumed alcohol earlier in the day and the same witness removed the driver from the vehicle after the collision".
The subpoena request did not name the witness, but Woods' Swedish wife, Elin Nordegren, told police it was she who pulled him from the car after using a golf club to smash the window of the vehicle.
The subpoena request added: "Also, the same witness stated that the driver was prescribed medication (Ambien and Vicatin (sic)). Impairment of the driver is also suspected due to the careless driving that resulted in the traffic crash."

Ah, I misread. Police were denied access to the blood results. Got it.toonarmy wrote:webdanzer, no, there actually is a blood sample:

With all the sh*t pouring on him, I wouldn't be surprised if the media has just scratched the tip of the surface from all his affairs. I am losing count, but what are we at now, 10 broads? All the time off he had with the knee injury, all the different massages.
Wouldn't be surprised if he takes a year off to get his life together. Other than catching up to Nicklaus's majors, there's nothing left for him to prove.

Uh no, Tiger won't even come within sniffing distance of Wilt's prowess with the ladies. Wilt was legendary. I knew him personally and was actually a guest at his home in the Summer of 1979 and met many of Wilt's girlfriends. There were 15-20 of them, just hanging all over him. Also met one of his most famous neighbors during this same visit...Farrah Fawcett. Thought I had died and gone to heaven because I was in love with Farrah at the time as many males were, but she was not even the best looking one there...most famous for sure though....ScoopBrady wrote:He's probably trying to surpass Wilt Chamberlain too.
Tiger has a LONG way to go to even approach Wilt Chamberlain's number of conquests....here's hoping there is an end to this at some point because this is looking worse and worse since Tiger was and still is legally married.
If it was a regular person working 9 to 5, the subpoena would get the green light. It pays to be rich. Mr Control remains in control.
I could care less about what people do with their lives, but this guy has 2 kids and a wife. If he wanted to live that kind of life he should have stayed single.
As for his privacy, f- him. I don't have any choice when his commercials come on about 10 times during a single sporting event. If he can shill razor blades, athletic shoes and Gator Aid then he can deal with the intrusion.
But he will come out all right in the end - the PGA tour is shaking in its boots just thinking about a season without Tiger. It is in their best interest - and the best interests of any golfer on the tour - that he comes back and still has an audience to cheer for him (or for that matter, against him).

Or first few tournaments back the ratings go through the roof. This year's Master's will probably be the highest watched. And Tiger will have incentive to win it.kevinpars wrote:If it was a regular person working 9 to 5, the subpoena would get the green light. It pays to be rich. Mr Control remains in control.

(jealous)
I heard on the radio the last time there was a Tiger Woods commercial on television was two days after this incident. There hasn't been an ad on TV since then. Are advertisers scared to use him right now? I think so and I bet a couple of them are going to fire him eventually.kevinpars wrote:If it was a regular person working 9 to 5, the subpoena would get the green light. It pays to be rich.
