Dude was in some good movies. My favorite: "Youngblood."

RIP.

Take care,

Damn. I just watched 'Tall Tales' with the boys last night. Swayze was a great Pecos Bill in that flick. Man, I knew it was comin', but just wish it didn't have to happen to such a swell guy.

RIP, Patrick...

I must have seen Dirt Dancing at least 50 times from the late 80's to the early 90's due to my Mom and little sisters loving that movie religiously....and I could still watch it today....it is a classic flick.

RIP Patrick.

BTW, my little sisters attended dance lessons at his Mother's dance studio in Simi Valley.

not sure I would admit to that :)

But this is a real shame for someone to go so young. Crap, the dude was only 8 years older than me! Shows how you have to live it up while you can!!!

RIP Patrick

The most impressive aspect of Swayze to me had nothing to do with acting. He was married to the same woman from 1975 until his death. A 34-year marriage in Hollywood -- that's almost unheard of.

Reminds me of another classy celebrity couple that sadly was severed by death about a year ago -- Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.

Take care,
PK

Encore has Youngblood on as we speak. And may i say, Cynthia Gibbs' a** is unreal.

Best line in the movie: Lowe- "You still like playin?" Swayze: "F***ing love it."

He handled stardom the way it should be handled. Class.

We'll miss you Bodhi.

First Jeff Healey, now Swayze. Clearly, there is a Roadhouse Curse!

Both of them seemingly very nice guys. Such a shame.
