I know a woman whose thanksgiving day weekend highlight was a trip down from Toronto to Orchard Park to watch that game.

Wonder how she feels just about now! 8O

Best wishes,

Doug

Please...Stop it...

The Rams have 34 points in 5 games and a loss to the Redskins.

The choice is simple. The Rams suck the mostest!

Look,

Washington doesn't even figure into the equation here.

The Bills just lost to the Browns. The Browns.

A team that was ranked 29th and 32nd respectively in total offense and defense. A team that was ranked 32nd in points allowed and 29th in points scored. In other words, prior to this game they couldn't score points and they couldn't stop the opposition from scoring. Ineptitude that outshines the Rams who at least have a defense that isn't completely bottom feeding.

And the Bills, hosting the game, lost 6-3.

I rest my case your honor.

Best wishes,

Doug

Wow, I have heard about the 49ers defense, but seeing them up close I am really impressed. They are the real deal! Oh, and congrats to our President for his well earned Nobel Prize!

I repeat, however, that the Redskins have yet to face a team this season that has a single win before playing the Redskins! Combined record of the Redskins' opponents this season so far, including next week's Chiefs, is 7-21. If you remove the 5-0 NY Giants, that record is 2-21. Both of those wins, of course, came against the Redskins.

So we are playing bad teams, and are still 2-3 with both wins at home, by a combined margin of 5 pts. The second half of our schedule is against actual professional teams.

Maybe the Redskins should be better because they have a little bit of talent but let's not forget that the Redskins have the largest player payroll in the entire league!

Oh yeah, and also the previously winless Panthers mustered the biggest comeback of the whole NFL so far this season, and in the second half to boot, by coming from a 2-17 lacrosse score to win the game.

This ain't over yet, guys!

I was curious where the Bengals were for real with their tough schedule running for the next 2-3 weeks and today is a good start to justify where they belong. Good win for them.

Seahawks are as banged up as last year if not worse. But they got Matt Hasselbeck back after his rib injury (I am sure it still hurts), but he's making an immediate impact against the Jaguars. HT it's 20-0 Hawks and looking good so far.

Last week's Seahawks retro jerseys were a pukey lime green that looked more like traffic control jerseys. Check DEN ones today, ouch.

Can we get a Stupor Bowl at the end of the year? Three teams, worst overall record gets a bye (tie breaker is worst point differential), losers advance.

I swear this would get almost the same ratings as the winners bracket. Run it Friday nights in Jan & Feb, with the "final" the off week before the Super Bowl. They have to play in Chicago, Buffalo or Green Bay, or some other locale promising inclement weather and general crapitude.

My God, this AZ Defense is making Matt Schaub look like Joe Montana. How on Earth was this team in the freaking Super Bowl last year?

So, since the Jets play Monday night I have the pleasure of watching a non NY team on my couch at home, and this Patriots - Broncos game is a nice reminder of what professional football is supposed to be! Those clown suits the AFL refs have are hideous, but they are outdone by those original Broncos socks! YOWZA

Can the Broncos come back again with less than 4 minutes to go?

Welcome back Hasselbeck. Seahawks rout Jags 41-0.

Nice goal line stand Cardinals...

One question remains in the afternoon games. Will Orton and the Skidmarks beat the the Pats in OT?

I'm real happy to see Orton doing well, still rather have Cutler but Orton was not given enough credit in this town. All he did was keep his mouth shut and do what was asked of him.

I guess you can't pass on a chance to get a guy like Cutler, and I'm not a Bears fan by any stretch, but I've always been of the mind that Bears would have been better off playing Orton instead of giving Grossman so much rope. Its good to see him having success.

Keith Olberman called it perfectly. The Broncos unis looked like the old San Diego Padres unis.
