I guess we can let my E3 thread die because BD's has links and I have no intention of putting in many links myself.

As for the MS motion controller Natal, I think it looks pretty exciting, but I have to reserve judgment. Too many question-marks about how enjoyable it will be to use as the basis for games, and I suspect it won't be in any games until 2010 anyway.

I'm sorry but that motion camera or system wtf it's code named looked amazing. If it actually works I'd say it's a big break through in gaming.

I'm just not sure what to say about what I just saw. Wow

I thought "cool" when I watched, but I can't help feeling it may be overhyped. Recall last year when Microsoft Lips got a lot of hype about being able to use any song, but that fell flat on its face...

I hear you which is why I said if it works.

But that thing with the boy and taking the note and then moving the water. Imagine the MMO that could be made.

If it does what Wii Sports doesn't it would be cool. That is, 1:1 tracking, show your exact motion, even if you have poor mechanics.

So that you can try to hit forehands all the time in a tennis game, even if you should be hitting a backhand.

Or throw football or pitch a baseball 3/4 sidearm once in awhile.

But at least with a company like EA, they're not going to abandon their mocap investments any time soon.

The Beatles:Rock Band E3 Trailer has got to be one of the best trailers I've ever seen for a video game. Well done.

That is ridiculous. I don't see how that will be successful.

It's really not my style...I play games to relax and unwind before bed. If I wanted to get a workout while playing, I'd fire up the Wii.

EA Sports announces MMA game

http://sports.ign.com/articles/988/988884p1.html

June 1, 2009 - Today at the EA press conference Peter Moore announced EA Sports MMA. The game will be coming in 2010 and is currently be developed by EA Tiburon in Orlando.

This announcement is timely considering it brings a competitor to the table with THQ's recently released UFC Undisputed. Will have more info for you from the show as news breaks.

Is UFC exclusive to THQ? If not then I would assume all of the UFC. EA tends not to jump into these things without some kind of license at hand.

It does mention the UFC exclusive but what about the individual fighters? I did not see that mentioned. They could go out and pay for a bunch of individual fighters and wait for the license to end.
