OT: New daughter
I guess there's something in the water at DSP... my wife and I welcomed our first child this week. Elizabeth Adele, aka Libby, was born June 23. She weighed just over 10 lbs and measured 23 inches long. Not surprising that my wife needed a C-section!
It's a great triumph for us as we have had a whole host of fertility issues. We've been trying to have a kid for nearly 10 years, and it's a true blessing that it finally happened for us. Libby is healthy and beautiful, and rocking my baby girl to sleep is an amazing feeling. It was so much fun to bring her home today.
I tried posting here from the hospital, but DSP was blocked. I guess they want doctors saving lives and not posting NCAA demo impressions.
Had trouble getting a picture to post, but there's a picture of her on my blog:

CONGRATS, man! That's so cool.
10 pounds -- that's a bouncing baby girl. She's a cutey, looks very lucid already in the picture.
Cherish these days.
Take care,
PK

Congrats my friend!! I know what you did to get through this winter
PK is right man. Cherish these days. They fly by pretty quick. I remember cutting the cord when my son was born now I hope he doesn't decide to kick my ass when I eat the last bowl of Cap'N Crunch.

First thing that came to my mind too.dbdynsty25 wrote:Having your newborn baby girl picture on a Circle Jerk blog just seems...well...unsavory.
Congrats Brando. I can understand how you must have felt over those 10 years and I am so glad you finally get to experience the joy of fatherhood, especially to a beautiful baby girl. Your life has definitely changed for the better. Now that you have joined the parenting club you can look back on those 10 years and realize that it was 10 years of getting laid. You won't be able to say the same in another 10 years.
