Those are good deals but Target is one of many retailers where it's more of YMMV (your mileage may vary). I scan cheapassgamer.com a lot and many of those Target, Walmart deals are those where one store puts an item on clearance and if you go to another store it's totally different. ;)

With that said i'll stop by my local Target on Monday and see if GRID is on sale for $30.

I saw Grid for $30 at a Target here in Brooklyn (kinda surprised, usually there is never any deals). I picked up MX vs ATV instead for $12.50 :)

Supposedly Circuit City is going to be selling Gears 2 along with a MS 1600 points card for $60. Nice way to get Gears 2 for $40.

Thats a steal! Not the most groundbreaking mx game, but for $12.50 certainly worth it.

I wish the folks that made "Pure" would make a MX Game. We need some new life breathed into that genre. You could pick up the 1st Mx game or the last one and not tell the difference.

I should have posted this earlier, but today is the last day of the FYE/Sam Goody's Xbox 360 sale. They have the 20 gb system for $249.99 + a $100 Visa check card via mail-in rebate. $150 after rebate for a 360 with a hard drive is a steal, and only 20 bucks more than a PS2 sells for.

Few items.

Target has buy 2 get 1 free on Wi games until Saturday.

Circuit city is closing 150 stores, game systems are 5% off, console games 10% and I think PC games 20%. Should get lower then that as they just made the announcement yesterday.

Finally and this is from slick deals:

Costco has Xbox 360 Gears of War 2 or Call Of Duty 5 system pack for $390 with free shipping. Non-members are subject to a 5% surcharge.

The bundle ships November 7

The complete bundle includes:
* Xbox 360 60GB Holiday Bundle, including
o Xbox 360 Pro 60GB Console
o Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures game
o Kung Fun Panda game
o Wireless Controller
o Component Cable
o Headset
o 30-Day Trial Of Xbox Live Gold
* Gears Of War 2 OR Call Of Duty 5 Game
* Additional Wireless Controller
* 12-Month Xbox Live Gold membership
* Voucher for 3 Xbox Live Downloads:
o PAC-MAN Championship Edition
o Catan
o Poker Smash

If that's true...I'm pissed. I thought I got the deal of the century getting my 120 (which I literally just hooked up about 15 min. ago) for $135 shipped from Buy.com.

There was a link posted on how to (DIY) upgrade the 360 drive for a fraction of the price. My gut says those $80 drives were probably gobbled up by the CC employees. ;)

Target has some incredible deals going on this week on a lot of this year's top games.

Just from memory while at the store I saw the following games for 360 / PS3 for 39.99:

- Call of Duty: World at War
- Fallout 3
- Midnight Club: LA
- Tomb Raider
- Saint's Row 2
- Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (PS3 obviously)

There were probably more that I'm missing

XBL 13 Month Gold Card for $38.98.

Seems like a good deal, I ordered 2 and had them shipped to a store.

Found a good deal on the WD BEVS drive you need to do the hack. $39 at techsunny.com...free shipping!

http://www.techsunny.com/WD_Scorpio_120 ... 31536.html

Did the hack over the weekend, worked like a charm if you follow the instructions in the other post to the letter. Along with all my saves/DLC I transferred from the old drive....I've installed three games and still have 86GB free!
