It's probably been said before in this thread but those HBO/Showtime 24/7/AllAccess specials are so well done I could watch a Janitor vs. Bathroom Floor 24/7 and after 20 minutes I would be ready to buy the PPV....

I've been training with this mop my entire life....

Ha! I agree, Macca.

But I think the "24/7" shows are slightly better written than the Showtime "All Access" shows. Plus Liev Schreiber ("Ray Donovan") is killer as the narrator in the HBO shows.

Thanks for the boxing education PK that was really helpful and put in perspective Mayweather's standing in boxing's all-time pecking order. I still love boxing from the 80's era: Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Pryor, Arguello, Mancini, Camacho. One guy who really never got the respect he deserved was Larry Holmes. Damn good fighter, nasty jab.

Damn straight on the Easton Assassin, Rod. Holmes had one of the best jabs in heavyweight history. His career was maligned by following Ali -- and destroying him in the ring. That would have been a tough act for anyone to follow.

You MUST read the book "Four Kings" by George Kimball. It's all about the Hagler-Leonard-Duran-Hearns fights of the 80s and the backgrounds of each fighter. Superb book. I can send you an electronic copy, if you'd like. Just PM me with your preferred format.

And he didn't do himself any favors by destroying Gerry Cooney, I saw that fight on TV.

DirecTV is showing a bunch if random Canelo and Mayweather fights. Mosley and Canelo was absolutely fantastic. Didn't think Mosley still had it in em. Hopefully tonight's can live up to that one.

Another master class by Money. Mayweather is NOT the greatest of all time and never will be. But there's no one in boxing today who can beat him. He's the best of this generation, by some distance.

I can't believe Canelo tried to outbox the greatest boxer of the last 20 years in the early rounds. Stupid strategy. He should have tried to rough up Mayweather early, make the fight dirty.

C.J. Ross should be banned as a judge for at least a year by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. A draw? Did she get high with Bieber before the fight? Then again, Ross is the judge who gave Bradley the victory over Pacquiao, so this hideous judging should have been expected from her.

Agree 100%. 114-114??? Unbelievable. Im not a fan of Floyd but he is a master of the science. I would pay double the pay per view to see either Lil Wayne or Bieber get knocked the f$ck out.

It's about time. You get the typical jokes in the NHL, NFL, Fifa not to mention the NBA and at the pinnacle of a boxing event, this guy is still allowed to judge blindly and corruptly in a consistent basis. Volunteers to walk away? Where are the big kahunas banning this guy for life?

CJ is a chick. :)

Her withdrawal makes the Nevada State Athletic Commission and its boss, Keith Kizer, look inept. Kizer should have removed Ross from the Nevada judging roster by noon Sunday.

Sad indeed.

Probably the original poster boy for getting screwed by boxing. Owned Ali in every way and in every fight but zero to show for it.

RIP Kenny.

Great champion. Broke Ali's jaw in their first fight. The second man, behind Frazier, to beat a prime Ali.

He had an unorthodox style did he? I remember Ali telling him that he never wanted to fight him again after that incident.

RIP.

And the new WBA Welterweight Champion is Marcos Maidana! He dominated Broner tonight. Shut his *** up.

Keith Thurman is legit.
Beibut Shumenov.
Leo Santa Cruz.

Great card of boxing tonight. Kudos Showtime Boxing!

Ha ha, even Sugar Ray Leonard is egging on Mayweather to fight Pacman. I guess it helps after he destroyed his dad in the ring back in the 80's. It's all about legacy but as Ray admits, the scales have tipped in favor of Mayweather winning and he also said that's why he didn't want to fight Pacman a few years ago, he was too dangerous. Money, is a great fighter but not one of the all time greats.

As Leonard said, he fought them all, Hagler, Duran, Hearns. They were all lethal and the best of the best. That doesn't describe Mayweather.

"They should fight," Leonard said. "Now they're leaning more towards Mayweather. Because at first it was 'We don't know who's going to win the fight' -- like Tommy Hearns and I, like Hagler and I, like Duran and I.

"But that fight would be huge."

Will. Not. Happen. And if by some miracle it does, the bout will take place six years past the point of relevance.

This fight would have been a war in 2009. Mayweather beats Pacquiao in a fairly wide unanimous decision in 2015.

One step closer :)

http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12 ... fight-want

A potential showdown seemingly took a step toward fruition Friday night when Mayweather said during a Showtime interview that he wants to fight Pacquiao next and wants it to be May 2, the Cinco de Mayo weekend that Mayweather has regularly fought on.

I have a better chance of growing a 12-inch c*ck and starring in porn in 2015 than this fight happening.

IT. WILL. NOT. HAPPEN.

Icicles in hell. But expect the Mayweather camp to scrap the deal over something as picayune as glove weight or referee selection.

Wait for 'Money" now to come out and find a little loophole in all this circus. Would love to see it come thru of course, as much as witnessing PK in pornhub.
