Cinci - I was turning the house upside down for an hour before the game, looking for my old Boomer #7 shirt, before realising I gave it to my then gf about a year ago So I found an old Bengal t-shirt, and roared the Bengals home.

Worms ? It´s a PC game, where your team of psychotic annelids take on either other players or the CPU with a variety of ridiculous weapons. Real laugh when you´re all hammered, as the teams have a variety of ridiculous regional accents and phrases.

CM on the XBox wasn´t a huge success, I don´t think, so they won´t be repeating the experiment, particularly as developers SI split from their publishers (Eidos). Let me know if you want a copy of CM03/04 - costs about £17 over here, and I can post it to the US for about £3.

"Ruudi, Ruudi, Ruudi..."

Haven´t been so excited since the Bengals/ Bills AFC championship game in 89 (88 season).

I´m glad to see the Bengals doing well for guys like Cincy (even though he had to become a Tampa homer just to deal with their inadequacy for so long), but as to the topic:

1. Star Wars Galaxies (PC). I know, it´s not a sports game, but it´s what I play the most. That and Dark Age of Camelot are tied, but they added some stuff to SWG recently that vaulted it back on top.

2. ESPN NFL (PS2). The league stats just kick butt...you can deal with some disconnects and stuff just to sift through the endless stats and scout opponents´ play-by-play logs from recent weeks.

3. Links. I suck at this game. I´m talking barely-under-100 suckitude. But I keep coming back, just to see if I can get under 95...then under 90. My hope is to one day NOT have pk500 laugh at me as I send a shot into the other fairway. Thanks a lot, asshat.

lol///terry

yeah well....even though i lived down here since 82 and have had an attachment to the area since 79 (tampa that is)

i was born 1968 the weekend of the first ever bengals game...so the blood runs a bit deeper but yeah i will admit i had to be very very humble....and quiet.......LOL

of course they have a long way to go but finally there seems to be a sunrise in the jungle hopefully they can add san diego to there west coast list of victorys this season

in the meantime just enjoying there getting some positive pub for a change

hopefully carson palmer is learning all he can too give them possibly another boost toward more success next season and into the future

Favorite three in rotation:

1. Project Gotham Racing 2. The best racing game I´ve played on the Xbox and among the three greatest console racers I´ve ever played.

2. Links 2004. The console golf game I´ve been waiting for. Great fun online and offline with just the right amount of realism. Fast Play foursomes are virtual crack.

3. Rainbow Six 3. Very, very good first-person shooter with some very fun offline modes.

That said, I´m also playing equal amounts of NHL 2004, IndyCar Series, Amped 2, Top Spin and Grand Theft Auto Double Pack.

Eagerly anticipated upcoming games:

1. Nothing for the rest of this year. My game collection has ballooned from four to 13 games in the last three weeks. Thank God for eBay and half.com proceeds covering all the costs, and coupons and 3-for-2 sales also have helped reduce the lump sum. I keep a list of prospective rentals and definite purchases on my PC, and there are no more definites for 2003. I´ll get either Inside Drive or ESPN College Hoops after New Year´s. Sega GT Online was a definite for $20, but Project Gotham 2 is so damn good that I think SGT Online will collect dust. I´m also very intrigued by Fable, an RPG due March 1. I´m not an RPG guy at all, but the previews and a feature I watched on this game on G4 make it look amazing.

2. My next must purchases are Driver 3, Rallisport Challenge 2 and Splinter Cell Pandora, all out March 16. But the biggest game with a release date on my radar is Full Spectrum Warrior, due March 24. That game looks to be the final word for realistic online military shooters.

3. Oh, there´s a little game called Halo 2 I think I´ll pick up in 2004.

So it will be a quiet four months or so before I make another rush of purchases. That´s cool, as I have so many fun new titles to play. Plus I have hardly any games, trash or trinkets left to sell on eBay or half.com to subsidize my purchases.

Take care,

1 - Links...really really fun
2. WE6:FE (Still debating to get PES2 for the PC. FIFA was crap btw.

Most awaited game...
CM03/04 - well I´m awaiting to see if it´s any good. CM4 was a step down from CM3 01/02. Let´s face it CM4 was rather incomplete and it just wasn´t as much fun.
LMA Manager. I´ve heard good things about it. It´s not CM03 but it could still be fun.
Cm 03/04 demo was certainly a good step up from even the latest patched version of CM4.

Might post a review next week (it´s out on Friday here...and I´m off on Friday...)

1. Winning Eleven 7 (Jap, import). I really just can´t stop playing. And now people are making patches with the real uniforms. Droooool.

2. Madden. Like it slightly more than NCAA, but they´re both fun.

3. Championship Manager 03/04 Demo. Haven´t had much time with it, but it´s nice.

Most anticipated: NCAA College Basketball 2K4. I know it´s out, but I haven´t got it yet. Looking forward to it though after everything I´ve heard.
