I have moved from picking this up sometime this week to pre-ordering it and paying it off yesterday and am even debating grabbing it at midnight tomorrow. Talk about getting caught up in the super hype machine!

I'm doing Midnight release and I have to work the next day. I've made

In the more than 1,100 articles I have written for this newspaper since 1996, I have never before called anything a tour de force. Yet there is no more succinct and appropriate way to describe Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar rides again.

I traded in 2 games today and have it on pre-order. I just wish my Grandpa was still alive to see it. He watched the Western Channel 24/7.

Not sure if it's already been posted, but I read last week that the PS3 version has some exclusive content -- in case it makes a difference for any 360/PS3 owners out there.

I don't know guys, this game just doesn't look like it will be very good. It looks like it will be incredibly good. I've been wanting this game since I read about a similar game that was supposed to come out for the PS2 that got cancelled. I can't think of the name of it now but Red Dead Redemption sounds like it's everything that game was supposed to be and way more. The only thing stopping me from getting it tomorrow is the fact that the Hawks play tomorrow night and I won't get a chance to play it until Wednesday anyway. So Wednesday it is. Anyone know the PS2 game I'm talking about?

I remember that, Scoop; and I remember being devastated that it didn't make it out. I thought the same thing when this was announced...'hell, yeah...vindication!'
