R.I.P Pat Summerall

Loved his voice. Whether he was calling the NBA games for CBS or the US open tennis coverage,golf, he was one of my favorite color commentators. His chemistry with Madden was special.

Pat passed away at the age of 82.

Yeah P.S. along with Madden were an unmatched duo for their time. Those two made the NFL even more popular. Sad day indeed.

Pat was a bad man far before madden. He and Tom Brookshier were THE team.

It is appropriate to say there are "few" words to describe the impact and meaning of his NFL broadcasts to me growing up. RIP. And with the loss of Pat, the legendary broadcasters are fading away.
