3. I am looking forward to this game but am somewhat scared at the same time. Not sure what to expect, Georgia's weakness on the D side of the ball will be the corners (we are moving our best WR from last year to corner this year - Malcom Mitchell. Since the game will be Mizz's first in the SEC - I expect the crowd to be a little nuts. Georgia's line is the weakness on the O side of the wall. Hope we can get a running game going early to take the pressure off the line there and open up the play-action. I was planning on going to the game, but my conservative mentality and owning two homes has made me decide not to at the moment. Now if I can sell my house in Huntsville / Madison by then, I might be making a trip to the mid-west in Sept.MizzouRah wrote:Mizzou in the SEC.. should be an interesting season.
I'm excited, I agree.. should be a crazy game.. I think I'm going to the Alabama game, even though I'm not sure will will fair well.bdunn13 wrote:

Take UM and the points (believe it's 12)...they will cover no problem.F308GTB wrote:Just waiting for one of my alma maters to get thrashed by 'Bama tonight...

Was a typical UM out of conference game against a ranked opponent.XXXIV wrote:Same here.dbdynsty25 wrote:LOL...guess not. Thought Denard would actually be a difference maker...FOR UM...lol. Awww well. This is why I don't gamble.
That game was a bummer of a way to start real football.
Great live sports day for me. Attended SU-Northwestern at the Dome in the afternoon, and an HBO Boxing After Dark card with buddies at an area casino at night. See the boxing thread for a pic.XXXIV wrote:Very cool that you went Paul. I have been to couple of very freaky NU games myself.
You guys played pretty well and I was worried about this game for months. I knew half of our defense would be out and our OL is really young at this point (not to mention 2 of our RBs are true freshman)..... I didn't go, but it appeared to be a great atmosphere. I also heard from many UGA fans, your fans were very nice and friendly.MizzouRah wrote:It is great to have it back!
Can't wait for the Mizzou vs Georgia game!
Georgia could run the table this year.. I don't think they play Bama or LSU this year do they?bdunn13 wrote:

Franklin is pretty good but in the end, I think our D wore him down. Jarvis Jones ended up taking over the game. He is Georgia's best defensive player since David Pollack. Jarvis was just named defensive player of the week..... and the scary part is, he is only a junior!!! He might be the only player ever for UGA in which I would get made if he came back for his Sr season. He had some injury problems at USC before transferring to UGA... and I want him to get paid. Madison looked good for you guys as well. I think Theus was blocking him (or trying to).
Good luck the rest of the way. It doesn't get any easier..
