I agree that Cash video (and the cover) are amazing. "Spine-tingling" gets overused but it works here.
For all the crap MTV (rightfully) gets, in the 80s and 90s, they really did do a lot for music. While they played stuff that didn't differ much from what was on pop radio, shows like 120 Minutes, Headbanger's Ball, and Yo MTV Raps were awesome for fans of college radio, metal, and rap. Plus they had stuff like Closet Classics (old videos of classic bands) and the Saturday Night concerts that I used to watch a lot in my pre-driving days.
So kudos to JD for posting a link to actual music on MTV!
