I'm it's the same exact cost per each. If you pay 12.50 for 1000 points that runs you .0125 cents. For 1600 at $20 that would still be .0125 cents per point.
I'm going to buy off the dashboard, no tax.
I'm pleased as punch as they aren't charging for demos, YET. You know they probably will. This way I can play Madden, FIFA while I'm waiting for my gamefly games to get here. I wish they had a tiger demo.
duh!
I never did the math, I guess it just looks a little cheaper for some reason and the Gamestop guy told me it was cheaper.

As for the Arcade, rumor has it that Dreamcast games will make their way to the Live Arcade. How sweet would that be?
I saw 1600 at Target for $20.

I just want to clarify that the King Kong demo will be posted sometime today. As of now I don't think it's available yet. It should be by this evening though.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.
You can see all the themes at the xbox website. I think it's just xbox.com.
Go to marketplace > themes
This is on the website not through the dashboard.

The King Kong demo is also on this months Xbox Magazine disk, along with Kameo and Full Auto. It's pretty cool and looks great, but I doubt I'll pick it up.

If there's a demo of Full Auto, I'd be interested in hearing your impressions.
Just an FYI for you guys considering King Kong...it is NOT worth $60. I borrowed it from a friend and it took me about 3days to finish. Granted, it was a great ride while it lasted (and you really can't tell how great this game is from the demo), but I still have the game and I haven't played it since. I recommend that if you can rent it or get it for less, then go for it.

I only played it a few times, but it was fun. The driving controls seemed a bit more realistic than other games of this type, which is to say the cars were much looser when taking turns at high speed. You really need to know how to drive the car as well as shoot your weapons.
The weapons themselves don't auto lock-on, so you have to lead the other cars a bit, which was cool. You can't just button mash, you have to line your shots up.
Graphics looked very nice, lots of details, and it ran at a very smooth clip. I think online this game would be a total blast, no pun intended.

Nice. I've been tempted to rent this game, but haven't had a real strong urge to play it. At least this will give me an idea of how it plays and graphically what it looks like.
Did the King Kong demo ever make it to the market place?
Sudz wrote:kameo and king kong are on the latest OXM demo disc.
king is kinda boring.
DOn't fool yourself. King Kong is one of the most exciting games I've ever played...and one of the best looking. There is always something going on and there never seems to be anytime you can relax. King Kong is like a really good rollercoaster ride.
There are two parts to the demo. If you haven't tried the part where you are Kong and must kill the dinosaurs, give it a spin. The things you can do as Kong will amaze you. I felt the same way about the demo because I was playing the part where you have to get the gate open. I had no idea there was a second part. Once I found it and played it, I was sold.
I downoaded Condemned and its pretty nice. Creepy game. Vicious beatings with the melee portion of the game. You can use pipes, etc. It looks like a combination Resident Evil/CSI type game. From what I could gather in the demo you will piece clues together using CSI type tools. Graphically its very nice. It has a very creepy feel to it. I was startled a few times. When I finished the demo I had the definate feeling that I would like to play the full version. Supposedly its a short game. If that is the case a rent would do the trick. You guys with 360s should definately download the demo.
