Jack and Pk, Thanks for the words of encouragement. I would have thanked you earlier except I was knocked out of commission with a urinary tract infection late Sunday. Very painful... no sleep, no appetite. Tough way to lose 5 pounds too. When it rains, it pours I guess. The drugs finally cleared it...

I've been quiet for a while (not that I said much to begin with), but I've also dealt with the loss of my main employment last month in the radio world. Our studio was shut down, and now the frequency is being used to simulcast with another station. The ownership group has completely abandoned the l...

That was the strange thing to me. Warner had the same situation ( with Boldin out) but managed not to make a fool of himself. Seemed everyone in the world but the Panthers defense knew where he was going to throw the ball. And that's why so many are questioning the defensive coaching on the Panther...

Could Delhomme have been any worse? I'm almost starting to agree with Albert, Moose and Goose that Arizona saw something on film about Carolina's patterns or Delhomme's delivery. The Cardinals' secondary had ESP on Carolina's routes. Jake does have tendency to stare down receivers especialy with St...

Ugggh... what a complete furball hacked up by my Panthers last night. Give the Cards credit for a strong defensive gameplan, but the Panthers' failure was at every level even factoring in Delhomme's worst game ever. No pass rush, no coverage on Fitzgerald, abandoning the running game too soon, poor ...

I have no major problems with Packer despite his ludicrous call of Henderson's foul against Hansbrough a couple years ago. He is the only announcer that UNC and Duke (and even a few Wake) fans think equally hate their teams. It takes a pretty good color man if every team's fans think he dislikes the...

Major frustration not having engine sounds on any of the Open Wheel Challenge (rF3, Sauber, etc.). The sound files all appear to be there. I've seen other posts with this problem but no answer. All of the other mods work and sound as they should.

While the Historic and GT mod looks really nice, I guess I don't understand why you would want to emulate a game in rFactor that you already own and is required to run this mod? In other words, if you own GTL to run this mod, why not just play GTL instead? I know it's not a straight emulation, as t...

John I have to disagree unfortunately. In motorsports or F1 in particular there's a big difference between driving a race car at ridiculous speeds where safety issues have been neglected. The Green Hell was one example where trees lined the track while drivers were pushing their cars at crazy speed...

I hate to compare horses to humans. However it must be said that after the deaths of Jim Clark, Ayrton Senna, and Dale Sr., the respective motorsport authorities took a long hard look at the dangers in their sport and made great changes. In fact, F1 drivers said motorsports could be banned (it was i...
