I started "My Player" last night, and the game is just ridiculous in making how gimped your player is initially. My Small Forward at 6'5" can't even make a layup. He has no business to be in the draft if he can't even do an uncontested layup.

The thing that bugs me with Live is that I am paying $40/year (I have never paid more for the past 4 years) for peer-to-peer gaming. I wish more games are server hosted (a la Bad Company 2) so host advantage is not so predominant in so many games. Gears is a notorious example of this.

The PSN vs XBL debate is a classic case of "network effect". If you have more friends on PSN, then XBL is a waste of $$ and vice versa. 99% of my buddies are on XBL, so the PSN offers me no value for online play even though it is free.

I also prefer 360's controller over the Dual Shock 3.

I downloaded it and jumped into realistic immediately. It is really fun, I can't believe it has been decade+ since I last played a helicopter sim/combat game, and I love it. I plan to pick this up soon. It is developed by Gaijin Entertainment, the same guys who did Il-Stormovik.
