Holy crap this game yanked a whole bunch of hours from me this weekend! Absolute blast to play online. (offline pretty good too...doing a season co-op with my two sons!)

This game has been fantastically fun! HIGHLY recommended for those with a PS4 who want a heavy dose of starship troopers-like bug blasting. Requires good teamwork, skillful use of weapons and upgrades, and lots of tense blasting!

Quick update on Dead of Winter:

Played again last night, and second play was quite easy, with very little tension throughout. Definitely seems to confirm that it is a swingy-type of game challenge-wise. Play it for the story, and for bluffing your friends. Game system itself is only so-so.
