Hrudey...good stuff. I swear Warren sounds a little like Geoff Tate from Queensryche at the beggining of Pain. I´m impressed.

Nigel Dawes was drafted by the New York Rangers and there is no doubt he´ll be playing for them in a couple of years. Sydney Crosby got tossed around like a rag doll today. I don´t even know how much ice time he got in the third period. The best player by far and away was Zach Parise for the USA who...

Beyond good and evil...a steal for $10 at circuit city!
I picked this up today at bestbuy for $10. They honored the circuit city add that i had. This game was just recently released and it´s well worth the $10 for sure. After the manager at bestbuy honored the add he took my add and tore out the section with the game and the $9.99 price tag. He then hand...

Lewis is overhyped by the media. LT is the best linebacker to ever play the game. Oh and how tough is Orlando Brown...he kicked Ray´s ass in the shower about a month ago!

What games are holding you over during this dead period?
Jrod,

Hitz Pro is all about fun factor. It also plays the best online of the hockey games this year in my book...that is if you have a PS2 of course. The things that make Hitz Pro the best hockey game this year to me are the amount of different goals that can be scored and the best goaltend...

Hitz Pro was the best hockey game by far and away this year. it plays whatever kind of game you want to make it play. Anybody that passed on Hitz Pro this year is missing out. As far games that are tiding me over right now.

Hitz Pro(62 games into my Edmonton season)
Jak II(Awesome game....

New rock band I really like
Just for the record I love the Goo Goo Dolls. They are one of my favorite bands in the last 8 years without a doubt. I still swear up and down to this day that on a weekend trip to Toronto back in 1987 me and some buddies saw John Rzeznik playing guitar for coin on Yonge St. He was doing covers of a...

Creed is not the worst modern rock band ever.....not even close. You can´t fault them because they weren´t the originial grunge band. I bet they have just as many top 100 hits as did Nirvana. I don´t really care for them that much but I give credit where credit is due and Creed deserves some. "Arms ...

Jack,

I love any of the old rod hockey type games and i´ve had this dream of always owning one of the bubble hockey games. I always told myself that when I got older that I would get one. I think what Paul is trying to say here is that EA Canada is to Steve Yzerman as Black Box is to Gordie Howe.

Ok Which College BBall Game Offers More?
I have MM for the PS2. While the framerate stutters from time to time...it´s very playable. The framerate doesn´t hinder the game at all to me. The game is actually very fun to play and that´s what counts to me. The CPU is actually quite tough as well.

I have MM 2004 and while the game is far from perfect I think it plays a pretty good game. I haven´t got totally into yet but I think I could. After I finish my Hitz Pro season, and MOH Rising Sun then I will get into MM. The atmosphere is top notch and the gameplay is decent.

Master and Commander...yeah or nay?
Saw it a couple of weeks ago and found it to be quite disapointing. The movie was extremely slow moving and the action was far and few between. Definitely not what I expected but yet it´s supposed to win all sorts of awards. I guess it just wasn´t my cup of tea. Thoughts??

Paul I know all about old time hockey and Morenz, shore, and Richard. I think you´re missing my point when I mention about Howe being hockeys first star. In my book Yzerman is the third best player behind Gretzky and Lemieux....that´s just my opinion....it isn´t any more right or wrong then yours! <...

Miracle on Ice...Biggest moment in sports history?
Yeah you could argue Messier for sure. Howe wasn´t better than Gretzky or Lemieux....he gets that recognition just because he´s Gordie Howe the NHL´s first star. Orr changed the game for sure but didn´t play long enough in my eyes. I don´t rank great players just out of respect. You really think Gre...

Just a few personal favorites of mine.

McGwire breaking the homerun record.
One armed Jim Abbott pitching a no hitter.
Kirk Gibson´s walkoff homerun in the 88 series.
Watching Steve Yzerman skate the cup for the first time in 1997. Jessie Owens turned in a terrific individual performance considering the circumstances. But you could argue alot of olympians giving outstanding individual efforts....Mark Spitz, Eric Heiden, and a host of others.

The USA winning the gold medal will always be the biggest moment in sports history in my eyes. Everything that was happening in the world at the time....I can´t remember our country ever coming together like it did back in 1980. When something that happened in 1980 still sends chills down my spine e...
