From the poll, it looks like a lot of us are "watch(ing) soccer the wrong way." Not thinking soccer will become popular here doesn't neccessarily mean you don't enjoy it. I love soccer but I don't except it to gain football or baseball like traction here (it could maybe gain hockey status with prop...

I love the little Canadair jets. Not a big fan of the turboprops--loud but I doubt safety is much of an issue. Very few little planes around these days but those take some getting used to if you fly alot in jets. They climb so damn slow it can be a bit unnerving.

RIP - George Best

Sad but not unexpected. Pretty much self inflicted. Still, an amazing talent. Played in LA for the Aztecs back in the day.

Pretty sure I'll get a 360 next year as a replacement for PC gaming (not upgrading PC any more--haven't for two years--for games. I'll probably get the Revolution at some point since I'm a sucker for Nintendo.

If MLB has a problem with steroids, let MLB deal with it. If they don't, let the fans deal with MLB. That goes down in DSP infamy. The fans? Just like they listened to the fans when they went on strike in (insert years for all the strikes here). My point exactly. I told MLB what I thought of ...

There is a huge difference between what the government can and what the government should do. In my opinion they have far bigger troubles than steroids in baseball to deal with. I clipped out the rest because frankly I'm not interested in your fantasies. So here is the expected response to this: Us...

Good luck. I know the cockroach feeling well having "survived" the various slashes from 10K employees down to 2K. It sucks but at the same time, if a company trys to play nice in today's competitive environment everyone loses their job. Maybe thats the way it should be. All for one and one for all. ...

When I was in school we used to read this poem every year: In Flanders Fields In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, fel...

What I know about how to play guitar, which is very little, is all about Stairway to Heaven. When I was in high school/early college I played a very little bit and sucked but about 5 years ago my gf bought me a guitar which I never played. We broke up and I decided to learn STH (which annoyed the he...

I AM IRON MAN...

Looks like serious fun. Like a few years back when I decided to learn the solo from Paranoid. It is fun to act like a teenager when you are 40. I wonder what the effects of the game would be on male pattern baldness. I'm in at 30 bucks.
