As was stated previously Rockstar games are not noted for being “shooter” games, but have shooting elements in the gameplay. Could the shooting mechanics be better, I suppose so. However, it has not diminished my love for the game.
Oh, and I really like the pace of the game.

Re: The Golf Club 2019
I saw the black screen on/off in my second round with the odd choppiness and dare I say some frame rate issues. Was slightly better in the third round where it was nice to see some rain. I played my third round last night and saw major frame rate issues... like averaging in the mid to high teens in...

Re: The Golf Club 2019
Is everyone aware of a bug in society play where after finishing your first round if you immediately continue on to your second round you will be playing the exact same pins you did in your first round?

I might be able to do something like that on Monday, but keep in mind, I'm the guy who didn't let it get through his thick skull how the new swing interface really works, with tempo being the sole factor that affects hooks or slices, until about four days into playing the game :D  It's worth ...

Thanks Vader for setting up all the DSP Society tournaments in TGC2 and now for TGC 2019.
Are you planning on assigning one or two co-admins to help you with setting up the tournaments?

It sucks to be getting old an ornery!:) I'll be off for the next 4 1/2 days and I'm hoping for a revival, although I'm sure the arrival of TGC 2019 would help stir my hormones a bit! :D Yep, my patience level for gaming frustrations is so low that I don't even feel bad rage quitting tournaments on ...

Re: HB Studios Next-Gen golf game: The Golf Club
"Rules", "guidelines" or whatever you want to call them, I would think that most real courses try to adhere to a 3-foot flat radius around the hole. As someone who plays competitive golf every weekend I can tell you most courses do not adhere to this guideline. With TGC while the undulations of the...

Re: HB Studios Next-Gen golf game: The Golf Club
(USGA rules call for at least a 3-foot flat radius around hole) This is an often cited with guys I play with when there are challenging pin positions and it is misunderstood as this is not a rule just a guideline. There are no rules at all for pin placement and thus technically no illegal pin place...

FYI, it’s good to see the MLB focusing on prostate cancer awareness with blue caps worn by the players in today’s games. Similar to what they do with breast cancer awareness days.

Re: HB Studios Next-Gen golf game: The Golf Club
I had a hole in one on the final round of this weekend tourney. I thought I uploaded it to Live but it is not showing up. Boy that course can be tough when the wind is kicking. I only played one round. Nice -5 score. I struggled with my swing, kicked one in the water, landed many in the sand traps,...

The pin position on the 17th hole in today’s first round Society tournament is a prime example of one of my biggest course design pet peeves: 3 foot diameter around hole not level.

Re: HB Studios Next-Gen golf game: The Golf Club
Another course with firm/fast green setting leading to many missed putts rolling 15 feet passed the hole.
I doubt I will finish this tournament. Way too frustrating and not fun.
This is the main reason I would like to see adjustable course settings in TGC2019.
