And as for the field dimensions/extra bases thing, I think it was just Great American Ballpark. Is that a relatively small stadium? Either that or the couple balls I thought should have been easy extra bases were simply TATTOOED. In later games in other stadiums, things seemed totally fine I played...

What hitting view are you guys using (console)?

I've been switching back with 1 and 4. I hit more homers with 4 (center), but get more hits with 1 (hitter's eye).

For me, positional rankings don't work worth squat. Although I could be doing something wrong.

I've been doing like above and haven't had an issue.

If the injury/suspension happens while simming games, DO NOT select optimize from there, it's messed up my rosters something fierce. Select "fix manually" from there it will take you to that level's roster and then select "cpu optimize". It only optimizes that particular roster. Hope this helps. Todd

A huge, huge issue is the CPU Optimize function. It absolutely sucks. Why in the hell can't we designate CPU Optimize say...AAA only? Ok, who's giving me a class on hitting? I do good if I hit a HR every other game. I must be old or just not used to the game yet. lol

I've switched back to the default 6/4 (center) batting camera. The hitter's eye view is just too hard for me to pick the ball up fast enough to swing. I scored 3 runs when I switched the view. Now all I have to do is get used to the pitcher being further away. I did notice a RH hitting batting again...

Hey, we beat Kansas.

Anyhow, I still think Illinios is the team to beat, but North Carolina could definitly knock them off as well as Duke and a few other teams.

That NC - Duke game was quite fun to watch. In fact, today was a great day for bbq and c bball.

I agree. If a game becomes a slider fest, I take it back. There are exceptions (see Bill Abner's NCAA 2003-04 football settings, Grog's NHL settings, and Bill Harris's ESPN NFL sliders), but MVP plays great on AS defaults. Perfect? Heck no, but very fun... I still can't hit and I'm 6-15 with the Car...

That's why I hate sliders.

I've almost toyed with a few things, but I'm still on AS defaults and having great games.
