One thing about Vancouver which a lot of people envy is also how mixed the crowd is and gets along with each other. You got a vast asian population which includes Chinese, Japanese (hey, best sushi in town), Koreans, then you have a lot British influence too, Americans, the Dutch, east Indians and t...

Leebo, Virtua Tennis PSP may only support Ad Hoc multiplayer (man, would online -- even just singles matches -- have rocked), but at least you can have four people playing a game of doubles wirelessly.

Forgot to mention that it has WIFI also and I am looking forward to that aspect once people find out more about the game. Controls are simple, square for lobbing, X for a regular shot, circle for a slice. The key thing as in real life is to anticipate where your opponent will hit the ball and your p...

Along with Hot shots Golf, they are my favourite sports games for the PSP. I have been playing the UK version for more than a month now and it's fun. When you play against the CPU the game turns a bit arcadey as the AI returns every freaking ball at you (especially in the hard level) but the game ha...

While in the US I used to live in LA (Hawthorne area, CA), lived in Miami (I certainly miss the senioritas) but my favourite city has to be Boston & San Francisco with BOS having an edge because you can't always see Frisco. NYC is great for the active mind and I hear the Island is great. I travelled...

It's do or die for the Redsox, Wakefield's knuckleball better be good or it's all over. Clement will be in the bullpen apparently just in case.

In terms of action, nothing beats NYC. SFO is nice when you see it and Vancouver is great for the fresh air. If you want action, as a major city you won't find it here like in Toronto. But here in Canada we say the same thing: Who can stand the winters & summers of Hog city in TO?

Best City to Live

Not to brag here, but we made it to the top again. If you can stand the showers in the winter times and you have a desire to do a lot of outdoor activity, this is a city you may consider moving to. Cons: Lack of main highways, it's mainly city driving and a lof of jam lately. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2...

Ovechkin-Crosby, the debate will go and only one thing for sure is that the FANS will win on this one. Way too early to call one better than the other one but one thing for sure is that the Russian all of the sudden is getting everyone's attention that Crosby got early. Great flow on the games last ...

Just finished watching the 1st shootout of the season between the Sens-Leafs. Exciting battle of Ontario as the Sens tied the Leafs with a minute left or so on regulation time. Coach picks his top 3 shooter and so they go. Sens win. Now, time for the Canucks and Gretzky's debut as a coach.

With the new schechuling from the NHL, one thing I really look forward this season are the renewed rivalrys. And with the new CBA, former rich teams won't dominated as often, so bring back the battle of Alberta, the NY clash etc.

WE9 (Jap Import version I've been playing) NCAA 06 MVP 05 BIA & NHL 2K6 Special mention to NHL 06 on the PC, I think EA has done enough to improve on the puck physics, loved the graphics and presentation, they toned down the hitting and with some tweaks I really enjoy this year's version. Unlike Fif...

And the Yanks are already 4-0 in the 3rd, although I think it's more because of their hitters than Colon screwing up.

One thing I realized in pre-season games is that unless the zebras are calling the penalties, the game speed overall seemed to really have picked up in comparison to the grabbing & holding of past years. Based on the those pre-season games, the default speed of the game might be correct.

Leebo, although I like the new putting concept this year, based on the Xbox, either I fall way short of the hole or go over 4-5 feet of it, never having a true "distance control" with the controller. Based on your impressions on the PSP, it seems that as long as you move the analog fully and read th...

From TVG: "One of the few introductions is for the player to bring the ball under close control, shielding it away from opponents. The implementation however is extremely shallow, requiring the sole use of one button and emphasising the sensation that the ball is stuck to the player’s foot whilst sk...

One other change this season as opening day is tomorrow. Like officials in the National Football League, NHL zebras will try to give fans an explanation of the call when the penalty is less than obvious as they'll be equipped with microphones.

Likewise, I also just got topspin for Ps2. Gooooood game, very addicitve. Glad someone finally put a little realism into a tennis game, because previous games felt a little like pong to me. Well okay that's an exaggeration, but you know what i mean. In any case I fully expect top spin 2 will domina...
