The good thing is that even though the phones are on backorder, they are still shipping out even though VZW is saying by 8/4. So I got my replacement device today and so far everything seems to be working fine.

For my text messages I stopped using the default text application and started using the Handcent app. It does give a popup notification that you have received a message and you can also do a quick reply from it as well.

I like the GH guitar controller a lot better than the RB one. IMO, the strum bar on the GH controller is much better than the one on RB. As far as the drums, I haven't had a chance to use the GH ones, but the RB ones are pretty good.

So I picked up a copy from Gamestop and am having a bit of fun with it. Am just wondering who's rosters everyone seems to be using.

PS3 here, hope that some others get it as well and we can race online. But I also did gamefly a 360 copy as well to race with for a little bit.
