Finally had a chance to read my August issue of "FourFourTwo". It is a great issue and I would recomend it to the many soccer fans here. It has a very nice recap of the Euro Cup, with some great photos. There is a special end-of-the year awards section (best/worst player, best/worst signing, etc.).....

Try and only buy players with a high team work rating. Every one on my current ML squad has a teamwork rating of 70+, other than my CF's. This really helps in the passing game.

I don't know what your history with the game is, but I wouldn't start playing the ML right off the bat. The default team can be frustrating to play with. I would play some of the Cups with some of the better national or club teams. Then move to the ML. When starting in the ML, really focus on defens...

I am think about dropping some $$$ on a 20 inch, LCD, EDTV. I am out of the loop when it comes to electronics, but I want something I can move around easily and this seems the way to go. One thing I can attest to: the challenge system is definitely broke. I have seen three times now where the replay clearly shows the receiver with one foot out-of bounds and the ref does not overturn the call, and calls it a good catch. (LOL-maybe this is realistic?)
