Exactly, jaggies on the xbox are a sign of lazy programming. I could not disagree more. You are making generalizations that do not take into account how various games are rendered by very different hardware. PS2 games do NOT have enough VRAM to do AA. AA consumes a great deal of VRAM on any console...

All I know is Madden on my HD set is shitty looking. FIFA looks good. The flagship EA title should be 720 no excuses. If MVP can, and FIFA can surely Madden? I was wondering the same thing. I know MVP is, Fifa is, NBA Live is...so why isn't Madden? I didn't play NHL enough to give a sh*t about hook...

What no love for the touch zen? http://tinyurl.com/5zhry My ipod video battery is lasting less the 2 hours, closer to 1.5 hours when viewing video. Apple sure knows how to milk the customer. iPod Video 30 gig = $300 iPod USB Power Adapter = $30 (use to be free) QTpro7 = $30 (takes a lifetime to conv...

I'm not liking this apple/ipod thing too much. Yeah it's cool to have a gizmo that plays videos, mp3, photos, etc. BUT, the color is some what washed out in the play back. Documentation is on the cd in PDF and really does not answer many questions I had, like how can I fast foreward the video faster...

Just to remind everyone of what these babies look like: http://www.xbox365.com/gdb/images/GGGruGdPLG04221653/Xbox_360_54.jpg I know it does not matter much, but that is not the Walmart Kiosk. That is the one you'll see at Circuit City, EBgames, Gamestop, Toys R Us. We sent those out right after the...

Your Samsung will look awesome with the xbox 360. We shipped out a s*** load of kiosk to Walmart a while ago, they should be up now. They have the Samsung LCD display. Got to play around with one for a week. You'll be happy if you bought this set for xbox 360. Take a peek in your Walmart. The games ...

I'm telling you Brando...that set is sweet. My girlfriend's dad has one and it's freakin' beautiful. Just bought that exact set yesterday. Very impressed so far, the football game on ESPN last night looked really good in HD. Far Cry looked really good too. I need to calibrate the color a little, an...

For 1080p, make sure they can take 1080p inputs. A lot of the first-gen 1080p models only seem to support 1080i. If you can wait a couple of years, the thing to look for is whether SED delivers on its hype. Forget about 1080p games on Xbox360, we'll prolly see a handful during the systems lifespand...

I'm looking to get the 42" version of the Sony A10 LCD RPTV line. It's either that or the 46" Sammy DLP, but I am wary of the dread 'gaming lag' with those Sammy DLPs, so I'm gonna try this Sony out and see if I can deal with the so-called screen door effect and the weird iris thing they do to incr...

I'm really liking this game, did not get a chance to play last years game very much. The games is 720p WS and looks really good. No more having to play in broadcast view because of no WS. The player models still look funny, looks like they have midget legas on long bodys... Controls feels tigh...

Remember When...?
Remember When...? It took five minutes for the TV warm up? Nearly everyone's Mom was at home when the kids got home from school? Drinking from a garden hose? Nobody owned a purebred dog? You'd reach into a muddy gutter for a penny? All your male teachers wore ties and female teachers had their hair ...

OT: DVD Music Rip Software
I have tons of concerts on DVD, most have not been released as a soundtrack. I was wondering if there was a good software program to rip music from these DVD's and listen to them on my MP3 player? Is it legal to rip music from a DVD?

Every single one of you should rent Penn and Teller's Bull**** TV show on DVD. It's on Showtime but you can get the entire first season on DVD. Each episode is dedicated to debunking false claims and all types of cons. Included are episodes on alternative medicines and genetically altered foods. A ...

I put all the details on the highest settings in 1280x1024 and use my XBox pad with the XBCD driver, and it's a joy. I think the little right stick moves are probably too easy to score with (Sykora went crazy once) but it's better than getting stonewalled on every breakaway. Sliders will probably b...

Well, it appears the Shures are the way to go but dang, they're expensive. They ever run specials on them? You can buy the Shure E2's off of Amazon or Ebay for the 60-70 range...I've got them and they are oustanding. My buddy bought the Shure E4's (200 bucks) and I can't tell the difference so I wa...
