Greetings from London!
Have fun. My wife and I really liked it when we went. She´s a history/archaeology buff, so we spent 3 days in the British Museum . That place is not to be missed. Tower of London is awesome as well, and high recommendations to the National Portrait Gallery and even the Royal Coach House (or whatever...

Is ESPN Football overrated?
That would be my review you´re talking about. I try to pick up on the subtle details of games. For ESPN, I was playing in franchise mode and never noticed the AI adapting to my tendencies throughout the season. It´s a good game, but I wouldn´t consider it the best sports game of the year.

OT - MP3 Players
I have my wife´s old Archos 20, the same as Paul´s, after she went out and got a 20gb iPod. I personally don´t like the iPod. Don´t like the interface and we both hated the downloading over firewire. We´ve got nothing but PCs and the iPod´s battery would run down before everything was downloaded. Yo...

Good luck with it. For myself, I don´t have to worry about the wife interfering with gaming. She works in Boston (bummer) and is only home for the weekends. But gaming does interfere with my exercise. Cycling comes first, however. Gaming for me has dropped considerably in the last 2 years due to the...

PGR 2
Drivers in PGR2 seem to be afflicted with F1 first corner disease. Everyone races into the first corner and always creates a mess. You really see this at the ´Ring. Even if you´re up front, it pays to drift back and let survival of the fittest play out.

But offline there are still plenty of...

How do you play original Japanese games on an american ps2?
One of my pals picked up some deal to play imports (for Drumania and Guitar Mania BTW). Don´t know the name of the device, but it´s a disc and plastic slider to open the PS2 tray. I´ve just got a Japanese PS2 so I don´t worry about it.

BTW, I´m going to Japan again at the end of February fo...

OT: Anyone planning to read Pete Rose´s book?
I wouldn´t support him or the publisher by buying the book.

Long time no write.

Gotta agree - F1 Career Challenge (console version) is the pits. It was drudgery just getting through races. Lousy AI, suspect handling, rudimentary setups. It is a shame since the EA PC titles are pretty good. But on the consoles none of the EA F1 games evolved into any...
