Not to mention that neither P. Forsberg nor M. Hossa played for their respective teams last night. As mentioned, they are just pre-season games, players are trying to get the rust out of them and at the same time get acquainted with the new rules. Having said that, it's going to be a high scoring se...

Call it "old fashion", disciplinarian whatever, but one thing for sure in today's world, our kids have an abundance of choices. And I don't know if that's necessarily a "good" thing. Kids with just 8 years and older talk back to you, (going back to the show "SuperNanny", I've seen kids even swear at...

There was that kind of scoring in the NHL in 1983-84 without rules changes. Why? Smaller players, less clutching and grabbing, no neutral zone trap, and there was a big disparity between the skilled and non-skilled players, unlike today. There were also 30% less teams in 1983-84. Expansion gave a l...

I for one think that once the season starts, we'll be seeing more exciting open hockey only and only "IF" the zebras are consistent in calling the penalties. This goes from game 1 to 82, from the 1st playoff game to the Stanley Cup finals. On this aspect I admire the zebras from the NFL where they'l...

One minute per year with time outs? I must discipline my kids with dog's years, then: One human minute equals seven kid minutes. So the 6-year-old gets 42 minutes in the penalty box, the 4-year-old 28 minutes, etc. :) Take care, PK PK how do you still "ALL" do it with 3 kids, play games, podcast, w...

Sony Japan (SCEJ) has announced the TALKMAN for the PSP. The TALKMAN will become the first speech recognition device for the PSP. The TALKMAN will connect a microphone to the USB port of the PSP. TALKMAN will be bundled with special software (and most likely a 2.0 update) to allow for four languages...

Found out more info on the battery usage. It's 14 hours instead of the Mini's 18. And the Nano can't connect to your Mac or PC with a FireWire cable, as all previous iPods could (except the Shuffle). Instead, the Nano comes with a U.S.B. cable. So if you don't have the USB 2.0 jack hooked up it may ...

OK DB here's an article on your man. Still for the NL I would vote D. Lee from the Cubs as MVP this season.

What a tight race, between Philly and Nats only 2.5 games separates them the last time I checked. Hou & Flo are right in there.

Soccer is a true team chemistry game. Famous superstars have been benched in the past before they totally understood the team concept of the game. Maradona, Beckham etc. One player will never do it himself on the field. This guys has talent alright, but sometimes taking a step to the side makes you ...

WE9 in stores throghout Japan tomorrow, can't wait to get my hands on that game. :o What is the best way to get WE9 PSP in the US? Ebay? EBay is probably your best bet, though I do believe there is a specific site to order games from oversees. In any case, the game's menus and speech most likely wo...

I am really behind on new stuff. The last disc I got was Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor (Which kicks major amounts of a$$, BTW). I can tell I am getting old, because most of the bands discussed in this thread I have never heard of. Then again, if it's rap, hippity-hop or pop I don't want to know...

Just got the Nano in the mail today, bought it for the wife. This thing is unreal! This is really the first time I've messed with an Ipod and I am so impressed with how slick the interface is. Granted, I'm still slogging along with my Archos Jukebox Recorder 20, so I'm behind the times, but I am bl...
