I just recently grabbed this game. I'm enjoying it.
I went to gamefaqs to read a bit of the forum there and found this:

This morning on the ride to school, my 5 year old asked me for "the cookie monster music" which to him means Opeth. He normally requests Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers (which in his words is "my favourite piano songs"), but that CD didn't work this morning so he asked for Opeth LOL. Never though...

Well, I had another one (geez, what is this ... #6 or #7 I think) crap out on me last night. Every disc I put in would come up as "Unplayable Disc". It's out of warranty and I'm not about to give Microsoft any more of my money for these things. I actually managed to tear the thing apart this mornin...

That pedal plus and alarm sensor and mono stereo cable would make a very nice inexpensive, but probably quite reliable, replacement for the RB setup.

I play heel up, as I do on my real kit. (I use my real bass drum pedal and practice pad with rockband) Heel up allows you to use the rebound of the drumhead, and find the "sweet spot" of the pedal as it rebounds, to bounce it like you would a basketball. (I actually try to do it the "Matt Ritter" wa...

Woohoo! Real bass pedal (and potentially double bass which I might try in the future) working very reliably now. See my post on scorehero if you are interested (I'm ringmar there)

I moved my setup upstairs to a carpeted area for more stability. No HDTV up here but the bass pedal and pad from my e-kit is working alot better. Still not working 100%, had to go back to the RB bass pedal. But I'm determined that I want to use my real bass pedal. I/m hitting up radio shack (called...

Question about getting better at the bass pedal: how do you practice getting your foot to move independently? I passed the Medium tour and am trying the Hard tour. The thing that screws me up is using the bass pedal whenever I get out of the main rhythm or if there's a tricky bit like the part in "...

Anyway, another guy mentioned that all it takes to wire up a e bass pad is a 1/4 -> 1/8 inch adapter. DING! I have one of those! That's awesome, how much is a real bass pad cost? I really want to replace the peddle.... My quick attempt above only "sort of" worked. It missed alot of hits (not timing...
