Well I'm glad I'm not crazy or alone in my feelings. I can't believe they spent 10 years making this game.

Can someone help me get into this game? Everytime I play I get 30 minutes in and I'm bored. I'm not Lancer, but my only beef with Madden 24 is that it's pretty damn easy to run.

Have you played it since launch? running is a bit less over powered after a few patches.

I am 100% in agreement with you in terms of BG3. But I don't see any way in hell it will win goty in a year Zelda released. It's funny, though...I was doing a 3-player co-op through Baldur's Gate 3, and then this hit and it's all we've done.

Has anyone messed with the play cool down settings. Really opens up the playbook. what is this? never heard of it- where do I find it? It's in the league settings you can set how many plays have to go by before you call the same play and I believe how many times you can call the same play in a game.

It's still Madden. The OL/DL engagement is quite a bit better, and you can really get after guys--I mentioned the 10 sacks against the Broncos? Only ONE did I control. I would guess I'm the only one playing on the PC but I figured out my speed issue, it defaulted me to unlocked frame rate. I locked it in at 120 and then dropped it to 60 and the speed is better. Still really hard to play defense and the lack of penalties is absurd for this many years in a row.

In the rounds that I played I was around even. I think my highest score was +4 and my lowest was -2. This was the kind of realistic scores I was looking for, but not really the way I wanted to get there. Meaning I could hit all the fairways, but who knows from there. I can't speak to the Xbox version but I miss fairways with my created player but not so much the pro's ion the game. This is on simulation difficulty with a lot of aids turned off.

Also just a question of curiosity for all those hitting 100% of fairways what is your typical round score?

I agree they do a poor job explaining things, my player is pretty stacked now with attributes which opened up a ton of shots and I have no idea what some of them do.
