Man, I knew I could count on you guys. My brother in law and I are looking into it...we've got five bottles on our list now. I'm certainly not experienced, so it's probably silly to spend that kinda money on a bottle, but f*ck it... Johnnie Walker Blue (blend) ($170 yikes) Johnnie Walker Green ($50...

Re: To mod (procreate) or not to mod
I'm still absolutely floored that people are enjoying NHL 2k8 only 3 short years after bashing NHL 2005 for being a checkfest and unplayable yet 2k8 does the same exact thing and is fun. don't be floored, the hockey videogame landscape surprisingly did change that dramatically. i don't post here th...

Baseball knows it. America knows it. Only the fawning idiots in San Francisco and Bonds don't know it. PK oh, barry knows it.....and i'll wager that is just part of what is eating him up from the inside no matter how much he tries to ignore it. his stewardship of the record will fall by the wayside...

well...i was really looking forward to this game. i've been watching my son play mlb 2k7 on our ps3 since it was released. it's an eye catching game, and the pitcher/catcher interface is nothing short of brilliant. positioning the catcher behind the plate and spotting the ball so it will break prope...

Re: F1: Championship - PS3 Impressions...
Anyone pick this up yet? I just got it today and will probably not be the best one for impressions as I am not a racing purest by any means. i'm no expert, but this game is fun. there's a great sense of speed, everything looks gorgeous, and the options to mess around with the various driving aids (...

We passed it here in VA and I'm proud to have voted for it. Not sure we needed it, but with other states allowing gay marriages, I'm guessing a few others wanted to nail the door shut before someone tried to open it. For what it's worth, I believe that marriage, as intended by God, was to be betwee...

i'm easy to please. all i wanted from mlb this year was to correct the freezeup bug, and updated rosters and i would have been a happy boy. i know, all you aficianados out there noticed other gameplay issues with last year's game, but as long as the freezeup thing went away, everything else was nego...

Re: Burnout 3 $19.99 at Target
back cover of (july issue 202) gamepro now advertises bo3 as "greatest hits" (os2) and "platinum hits" (xbox). it should be $19.99 everywhere.Weaver2005 wrote:Not sure if this was posted, but BO3 is only 20 bucks at target. They still list it as $39.99 but when it rings up, it comes up $19.99.

Again, can any of the pro-suspension group explain to me why it's better to keep this kid out of school for five days, at home eating Cheetos and watching "Rugrats" with his irresponsible parents or a sitter, instead of in the classroom where he belongs, all for something he might have done ...

i'm a little confused. he didn't draw a picture of a gun. he didn't make a finger gesture of a gun. he didn't bring a gi joe doll gun into school. he didn't merely utter the word "gun." No, and he didn't bring a gun to school, either. Had he actually attempted to enter school grounds with it, then ...

No, Sully, I'm not saying that. The kid has no history, has made no threats against the school, and had planned to trade it for an Xbox, not shoot people. I'm not saying, either, that it wasn't stupid. It was, incredibly inept. The authorities handled it, will continue to handle it, and that should...

Notify authorities? Sure. Kick a kid out of school for possession of an idea? No friggin' way. No gun on school grounds=no grounds for suspension. wrong wrong wrong. nobody is kicking a kid out of school for "possession of an idea." he offered to trade a handgun to another student and he had access...

What's stupid is suspending the kid because the weapon "could have been brought" to school. That could open the door to all sorts of invasions of privacy. They could suspend him for getting in trouble with law and I wouldn't have a problem with it, but enforcing school rules outside school is idiot...

Will my created player in MLB 2006 have access to "the cream"? If my character's head doesn't grow from season to season, I ain't buying it. LOL... Welcome Captain. I was a HUGE Bases Loaded fan. Played a full 80-game season with Utah...though it lost it's fun once I found out a money pitch. Still fire it up on the emulator every now and then. the new kid
i just wanted to introduce myself with this first post. when my stepson was very young, we lived in a neighborhood that wasn't the ideal place for playing outdoors with other kids. ducking behind parked cars during drive-by shootings wasn't the same hide and seek i remembered from when i was a kid. ...
