I got a chance to play through the prologue and a little bit of Act 1 over the weekend in Expedition 33 and really enjoying it so far. You can feel the passion the 30 person development team put into this project. JRPG's really aren't my thing, but I am going to try and stick with this one.

So far no issues on the Xbox Series X.

is the game graphically any better than 2k23 on the full release? Is it even close to EA PGA Tour?

How does it compare to EA's game?

I was able to sneak 9 holes in at TPC Sawgrass before work and now I'll be thinking about this game all day! It plays very good on the XBSX. I'm doing the same as you John, I am starting off on Pro with the AI set to that. I'm going to need to work hard on the back 9 if I am to match your 70. :lol:

It is cross platform, perfect for societies.

I have a feeling I am going to cave too, I can't stop playing this demo. Now that I am starting to get the new swing path down, I am really enjoying the intricacies of the new system. But there seems to be one or two holes that it gets away from me, just like being on the real golf course! Twice ...

I'll be getting the standard edition as well. The demo is very impressive. I'll need to fire it up again to check out the patch to the demo tonight. I thought it was a bit too bright before, but would be cool if there are different times of day.

This game certainly has my attention! I’ve seen many great reviews about it. I’ll look deeper into it a couple weeks from now. My oldest boy gets married next weekend.

Looking forward to the career mode quite a bit for sure!

I really don't understand the reason for that post either. I would imagine the main reason most people here play on Xbox because Xbox Live was the first console online service and still the best today when it comes to creating a party. As we get older, we tend to stick with something we are ...

EA's PGA game definitely has transformed for the better, as it was pretty rough when it launched in March. It still needs some tweaking, but overall, it is fun to play. The career mode is definitely more engaging than its 2K counterpart.

pk, the approach shots are definitely tough early in the game ...

A 3GB patch is now out on the Xbox consoles. Sounds like the stuttering is fixed but the screen tearing still exists in some stages, but better overall.
