Finally got around to downloading the collectors edition and also gave Merion a whirl. Wow what a course! Shot three over the first time and three under the second using the Sunday pins.

Gee I love this game. Just played Bay Hill 0.7 and Oak Hill rochester. What fun. I hope when the season mode is added (which to me is worth the $10 for the upgrade), we can choose the courses for our tours. That would be sweet.

Round 2 at pinehurst. Somewhere on the back 9 I lost the ability to slowly bring the putter back. It would stop as if hitting a wall and thus all my putts were only a few feet in length ( like 10 feet when faced with a 30 footer). Thus I quickly went to 10 over for the round. Frustrating.

I still don't see how a well played iron shot can hit the green and roll through it. I'm a 12 hcp in real life and my iron shots check up all the time. So it goes.

Finally broke par shooting 1 under at Pinehurst #2. 5 birdies which is by far the most I've had on one course and 4 bogies. Played it 3 other times this weekend and was always 6-10 over par.

I'll pay for it in 6 hours when I need to be up for work

Maybe I'm late to the party but I just played Stone Reach Golf Links. That's a pretty impressive re-creation of Pebble. Of course I'm going by the Pebble I know from the EA game as I've never been there.

Call me old fashioned but I like the 3 button click method like hot shots golf had. The speed of the meter controls the difficulty. The earlier you click, the more you hook the ball and the later you click equals fade/ slice.
