Yeah, quick counts and dynamic difficulty solve two of my ongoing problems with the series, all at once. Plus the whole RTTS and Franchise carrying over to future versions, regardless of platform. Craziness.

Can't decide whether to blow mad money on this or stick with the Vita version that I've been playing happily.

Was sad to hear that the classic stadiums did not make the transition to PS4 and likely won't ever, according to the devs.

Overall the game seems smoother to me than any previous edition, the pitching release hitch notwithstanding. Going to try turning off the media sharing stuff.

I am indeed seeing frequent stutters as the ball leaves the pitcher's hand. It's not impeding my hitting or anything, but it's a bit annoying. I'm feeding 720p to a native 720p projector. Playoff mode, man. 'Bout damn time.

I got the physicals for both this time, because of the Amazon deal. First Vita cart I've ever bought, thing nearly flew across the room when I tried to remove it from the box. Thankfully it ain't leaving the Vita for a year or so.

Last year's Vita version is still so good. In lieu of playoff mode (which finally gets implemented this year) I like to do a Pirates fantasy draft 29-game season. Play each team once, round robin style, see where everyone ended up in the draft. 60's and 70's uniforms whenever possible.

I'm excited for that new Team Ico joint, if it comes out this year.

Also any batshit Metal Gear stuff they decide to release.

I had one at 30 and two in the 20s somewhere. Man I liked creating characters in that game.

I'll have to give it a whirl when my PS3 gets back from repair. My main problem with the game was that I loved the 1-30 journey, but hated everything past that (duos, raids, token collecting for armor). That just seems like an MMO problem though.
