There's no doubt that the Pats smothered the Colts but they got away with murder again this year but on the opposite side of the ball. I don't know how many offensive holding penalties I saw that were not called on the Pats. Grandma Moses could have run for at least 3.5 yards per carry with holding...

Which is exactly what I've been saying all damn day...they proved it even more today. I have no freakin' idea how those stiffs won 15 games this year. I think it goes without saying, but I'd rather be the worst 16-1 team in history heading to the AFC Championship Game than to be the best 4-12 team ...

badgun i dont care for stats... if vick was told he could not scramble and had to be a pocket qb like manning he could f*** some stuff up.... vick is exciting, a lot more than a redneck(manning) from louisiana or wherever the hell he's from.... vick may not pass for the yards manning does but id sa...

The Bills didn't make the playoffs because they lost a must-win game against the Steelers 3rd string...at home. Their poor start had nothing to do with them not making the playoffs.dbdynsty25 wrote: the Bills seemed to be a better team from top to bottom...they just started in too big of a hole.

I enjoyed it very much, very well done. Barry Pepper is amazing, first he nails Roger Maris and now Dale Earnhardt. The movie was entertaining, although probably not 100% accurate, but how many movies are? A first rate made-for-television movie in my book and I loved the ending, a perfect ending as ...

Lynn Swann was my favorite player back in the late 1970's when I was just a young tyke. I still remember fondly his appearance on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood back when I was 5 or 6. Back then I could never figure out why Bradshaw didn't throw a touchdown to Swann every play, I just assumed in my 6 year...

Aikman went from Oklahoma to UCLA after it was clear they weren't going to change from an option offense. Forget his name but they also had a TE who was drafted high and he and Aikman supposedly talked about being at the wrong school. I believe that TE would be Keith Jackson who had a pretty succes...

And I can't remember but I think fans and players did get into scuffles. This is like the '40s or even earlier. Much earlier, in the 1920's. The era of the "cage" comes from when there were still town teams. Each town had a team and they played other towns. Because so much pride was at stake fights...

So you can take your pretty little racial card and play Go Fish. PK, I am the last person alive that would use the race card, believe me or not. It just seems any time anything is mentioned about the NBA's players the words "thug" and "gangsta" are used. I hate to sound like the Rev. Al or some ble...

I find it somewhat amusing how many can justify the actions of the fans because the players are "overpaid" or "gangstas" or just perhaps because the majority of them are black might have something to do with it. Of course some of you will say that's silly, but deep down inside I think that is part o...

Fuc you. Does that make enough sense for you? I didn't mean it literally. You missed my point. Big surprise. Go argue with Parker now. That's because your points rarely, if ever, make any sense at all. Usually you just ramble on and on and then throw in some sort of Army reference. For someone with...

Lets look at what you said. Its against the law to enter the court. Ok, so instead of tresspassing citations, the players can just take swings at any fan that enters the field of play? Using the same "logic" I should be able to go out thump on someone that cuts across my lawn. Yes, and it's happene...

How's this? Pack all the badasses of the NBA up and send them to Iraq. Let them get thuggish on some insurgents. They have the money to equip themselves with the best $hit on the market. Let them work that $hit out. What would that prove? They're not trained soldiers. Perhaps with proper training R...

I don't agree that if a fan comes on the court he's fair game. In most states it is against the law for a fan to enter the field of play for any reason. Your arguement is a joke. For safety? How about heading the other way, toward the concourse. Those fans were not running onto the court for safety...

Is this really a shock this happened in Detroit? Those morons burn their own city at the drop of a hat. Say what you will about Artest, but I agree with ESPN 95%, those fans were a total joke. Little fat guys running on the court trying to take a cheap shot at an NBA player...what a f***in joke. Loo...

On a positive note, Michael Badnarik earned nearly as many votes as Ralph Nader. I voted for him. Although if was more of a vote against Bush and Kerry. I used to vote straight ticket Republican, but Bush cured me of that habit. Even though I couldn't vote for Bush, in good conscience, I certainly ...

I think it's insulting to announce a winner before each and every vote is tabulated. Everyone needs to feel as though their vote counts and is important. I don't even think they should show any election results until the whole thing is done. That's fine, but I wonder how many people would like to w...

You're right, ironically, he was better at building teams before his payroll eclipsed the next team by 70 mil. I think it's time he sold the team and for a new era for the Yankee organization. I agree with your first statement. We were a much better team in '96-'00 when we had less "superstars" and...

I won't be going on a business trip. Biggest choke in sports history, huge black mark on the franchise. Team's weak areas finally show through after being hidden during first 3 games. I don't care if the Red Sox win the Series or not. I'm not the kind of fan that will now root for the Cards/Astros. ...
