It's somewhere in the PES options - sorry I don't have it in front of me and can't remember exactly what it is called. You still need the disc in to play but it caches something like 2 GB to the HD.

Macca, I haven't figured out the online bit yet. I assume you are correct. I entered in the code that came with the game but it also asks for a password, which I would imagine you get from registering online, no doubt with a Euro address. Let me know if you sort it out. However, I'm in no real hurry...

Leeb, actually the PS3 version is a step below the 360 demo (framerate issues and the weird deflection physics that don't appear in the demo). To each his own, but I have a hard time going back to FIFA even with all the PES problems. Your mileage may vary greatly.

Okay, I've calmed down now. It's horrid out of the box, but with a few settings changes it's just mildly disappointing. You definitely have to install the data to the HD - otherwise the framerate will make you sick. The default camera view is also pretty terrible - switching to the normal "wide" mod...
