Is there a way to practice before a race? Without going all the way back out to free play? Right now I go into an event, check the track and if I don't know it I go all the way back out to free play and find that track to practice on. Did I miss something obvious in the race day menu?

It's definitely in stores today. Was getting a movie for my kids (both are home sick today) so I rented it (on gamepass) from blockbuster this morning, and they had tons for sale.

With any luck, assuming I don't also get sick, I'll be firing it up tonight.

So what's the word on this one--in stores tomorrow? Pretty sure the stores have their copies already. It (many many copies) was in the glass behind the counter at EB Games yesterday. I normalize volume on all tracks, too, which is equivalent to saying I reduce volume on all tracks. :) I can't stand the trend this decade of CD tracks being so damn "hot." The amount of clipping and lack of subtlety are rampant at such ridiculous dB levels. MP3Gain is a vital tool in my MP3 worksh...

I have it out right now on the Blockbuster gamepass. I played the SP mode for about an hour last night and had a blast. Yeah it's no sim... but it IS fun. I only played a few events on the middle difficulty level with damage set to FULL, setups OFF. Driving was fun, AI racers were reasonable.
