Re: Retro Gaming

Not only is the Odin 2 a great retro machine but I'm out of town on vacation and been playing my Xbox via remote play and via cloud gaming and it's been fantastic. The best part about it is the battery life. Streamed games for over six hours yesterday watching football and it had 60% left when I wen...

Re: Retro Gaming

Sweet! Ordered one and waiting patiently for it to get here so I can start fumbling my way through setting it up. That site I linked above, Retrogamecorps does tons of walkthroughs on the different devices. Just follow the Odin guide and you'll be good to go! https://retrogamecorps.com/2022/05/28/a...

Re: Retro Gaming

Wilk - this dude covers just about every system out there...complete walk throughs on setting up each device with emulators and whatnot. The only thing the doesn't cover is Switch...since Nintendo is so "sue happy"...so that's kind of hit or miss when you get to the more powerful devices like the O...

Re: State of sports games - season modes

Ok - guess I'm not the only one. Too bad. I feel like these sports games pulled me into video gaming in general, but just haven't evolved in the way I would have liked. Maybe a Steam Deck OLED would give me that gaming fix but in smaller chunks. Overkill - and way too big. Get an Odin 2. Absolutely...

Re: State of sports games - season modes

I play Ultimate team in EA FC (Fifa) and that’s about it. I am like you…8-10 hours in the big budget titles then I’m bored. Seasons in a sports game are a thing of the past. No real improvements in the last few years for any of the franchises so I play a few games here and there and then come back e...

Re: Retro Gaming

Meant Retroid Pocket 2S - the newly released one with the analog triggers and hall joysticks. Got three of them, one for me, one for my son and one for his best bud. These things are awesome just take-a-long pocketable devices. The Odin is too big to just carry everywhere.

Re: Retro Gaming

I would just to own a device that has all the PS2 games. If that exists let me know where I can buy it. It now exists and mine just arrived. AYN Odin 2…absolutely fantastic device. Does most Switch games too. More power than the emulators can even use right now. Base model is $300, the same price a...

The Origins developer, Stephen, got back to me in about 6 hours and got it updated on the Play Store so I could get the full version on my RP3+. Awesome...it really is awesome on the device.

Re: Racing Sim Thread, Part II

It's funny - Rush Rally Origins has been on my Nintendo Switch and my phone, but it doesn't work on my Retroid Pocket 3+ which is what I like those single car games to be played on. The racing is the differentiating factor for Circuit Superstars. Origins is good, and def more realistic than Art of R...

Re: Racing Sim Thread, Part II

If you guys aren't playing Circuit Superstars on your consoles right now, you're missing out. Holy crap what a blast to play. Picked it up last night and ran a few races after watching some streamers play - and holy crap what a blast. Extremely deep, extremely interesting handling model, great race ...

As for the DSP Club, I’m in and can see I’m a member, but that’s all I can do. I cant enter the club area and do anything.
Yes, that's my problem too. Not sure what's going on. You have the full version now, right? Not the trial?

I am guessing the clubs don’t work on the trial because I can join the club I just can’t go into it. Keep missing the $30 flash sales. lol.

It's boring. I do the same thing...30 min...do a couple repetitive missions and log off. I don't get it.

Re: Retro Gaming

I bought a G Cloud for my trip to Europe last summer...used it the entire time, liked it, but thought it was a little too big for my use. I wanna pocket it and go - whip it out for a quick session (huhuh) - and go on my way. Fantastic device, tho especially now with all of these smaller systems w/ t...

I'm getting back into full on retro gaming and I picked up the Retroid Pocket 3+ the other day. Holy crap what a device. Full on retro gaming up to PSP games (and a few select PS2)...cloud gaming from Xbox, PC and NVidia - all for 150 bucks. Beautiful display, solidly built, mediocre battery (aroun...

100% agree PK. I had gone into it a little scared. Always been a fan of the WRC franchise even with the less than realistic handling model so I was interested in seeing what some more money and development could do with it. Happy to say it's one of my favorite driving rally games ever. So smooth and...

Clearly they are doing the Flight Sim model, but with cars. Release a game, update indefinitely. Hey, as long as it's on Gamepass, I'll deal with it.

Jaw dropping yes. Also sterile as hell. The game has very little personality. I’m trying to push through the boredom. Maybe when there are more friend lap times up to chase. And all this 60fps stuff even in performance mode is false. I just raced at Lime Rock and it was at best 30fps around more tha...

Re: The Beautiful Game, Fútbol, Calcio, Footie Season 23/24

It's a bit of an indictment of Dortmund that he's been such a start right out of the gate at Madrid. How is it an indictment of Dortmund? They found him (and Haaland), trained em, taught em how to play and sold high to bigger leagues. Seems to be their process is working for everyone that leaves bu...
