So, the Leafs win 4-2 in an amazing game to watch. It was pretty much end-to-end hockey all night long, with not a whole lot of iffy penalties called. There was a couple, but nohing too bad. It's pretty funny how a lot of the guys that I called out before the game played well. Kubina, Tucker, Blake,...

Luckly for the Leafs, it won't be difficult to make an improvement in tonight's game vs. the Canadiens. For those of you who don't have another game to watch, I'd highly suggest taking this one in. Leafs-Habs games are usually pretty tight and the atmosphere is amazing. You also get to take in one o...

Players that I think are moveable from the Leafs: Sundin: for so many obvious reasons, but none of them being that Sundin can't produce. It'll be a sad day for me when they do actually move him. Kubina or Gill: have to trim the salary fat off of the D-line somehow, but who will take their ridiculous...

The swearing won't change things all that much for me (asides from taking a bit away from Doakes' character) Don't forget Deb! She'll have to turn mute! Very true, but if A&E could tone down Soprano's I guess they can do anything these days. It sounded really lame though, and I bet CBS would have t...

And cutting out content for time is going to be brutal as well. The show runs roughly 51-54mins each episode, and most broadcast shows that are in an hour time slot run roughly ten minutes less than that. And I forgot to mention one show: Flight of the Conchords. I know it's been talked about a bit ...

FYI - it seems that network Dexter is going to be significantly butchered (pardon the pun) - they have to shorten the episodes to fit an hour time slot and also have to cut out the content not suitable for network tv (swearing, nudity, and some gore). I can't imagine it'll do the original episodes ...

I'm the 'L'. We actually made the jumbotron, we e-mailed Belak and he said he saw us and he thought it was the ...

Raycroft allowed four goals on just 11 shots last night. The dude is shattered. To Raycroft and Toskala's credit, just about every goal was a deflection or tap in and I doubt either guy felt like "stealing" a game after the D forgot they weren't in the pre-game warmups. I think I saw more intensity...

I wonder if I can convince the Chinese truck and the cheese steak truck across the street to join forces and make this thing. Though I think this is the first time I've ever been afraid of a sandwich. The Baconator from Wendy's is pretty fearsome, and my friends have had this burger they serve at t...

Well, that was quite the beatdown of Toronto at the hands of the (sigh) Florida Panthers. It actually was more of a joke towards the end of it, with my friends and I laughing with each passing goal. You know something's definitely wrong when Matt Stajan drops the mitts. After the fight Salei seemed ...

Tlusty on the first line is absolutely frightening at the moment. Even more frightening than the Web video of his penis hanging out while surrounded by men? I forgot to mention it already, but it was pretty cool seeing the Toronto Marlies playing on Saturday night, well it seemed like it was the Marlies at least. Robbie Earl was a forechecking machine, and it seemed like that type of hunger spread to the rest of the team. Playoffs are all but a lost cau...

I got a lot of incentives from Sony this holiday season, and with that I've come to a dilemna, albeit a pretty awesome one. Consider that I currently do not have an HD movie player. I can either get a 40" Bravia W3000 or a 40" Bravia V3000 with a 40GB PS3. Has anybody gotten too deep into the V vs. ...

It hurts even worse when your team is supposed to be the premiere hockey club in the world and does absolutely nothing for years on end. No sympathy from the rest of Canada as you welll know Airdog. But we all enjoy the Leafs being the joke of the world. :) Not me :( At least we still have Belak.

A few things , it wasnt as bad as your saying. The breakaway. The fact that 50% of my 12yr old kids team can do the michigan or throw a glove first to distract goalie and then make a move or one of several other funny things on a breakaway drill just showed me how un imaginitive the players were, a...

I wasn't much of a Sega fan, truth be told, so I pretty much just laughed when all of their systems failed. Years later, baby Jesus played a horrible trick on me when my beloved Dreamcast met the same fate. At least I got to trade my DC for centre ice, 10th row, tickets for Leafs vs. Red Wings. And ...

I watched about 10 mins of the pop-up video version. WTF? It seemed like a 10 year old was writing the "pop-ups". I felt the same way. Tonight I'm not going to be able to watch the premiere, because I made a pact with my gf (she's out of town for medical tests). That's going to be kind of hellish, ...

I think just about everybody in our locker room Sunday night agreed that the NHL All Star game was a complete joke, and the skills competition was horribly ill-conceived and executed. At a party on Saturday night we were watching the Super Duper Breakaway Contest and it was pathetic. The reason it w...

That was absolutely hilarious. I think my favourite was Gretzky's voice. Close runners up were, "Is this the year parents can't afford ice-time?" and somebody dying on the ice.

N64 was an amazing system for its time, but based almost entirely on its first and second party developers. If you didn't much like the SNES, NES, or the Nintendo franchises and IP, then you probably wouldn't have enjoyed the N64 at all. Add in the fact that the sports games were fairly dismal (I ha...

I had a 3DO for a little when I talked my parents into getting me one for Xmas. Sure, the console was doomed to fail because of it's price point, but man, FIFA Soccer, Need for Speed, and Road Rash simply blew away games on Genesis and SNES that were available at the same time. My friends and I tho...
